Just seen the new M&S advert its the new X Factor charity single :blink: :mellow:

 

Just saw it too. Doesn't sound that great, but sounds much better then the 2009 terrible cover of "You Are Not Alone" the XF finalists did.

Watching the ads in between the X-Factor is just as much a lesson of whats going to top the charts next week as the show itself - just turned it on there and the first ad showed M.Buble advertising his Christmas album singing Santa Claus is coming to Town and then I nearly died when i saw the M&S christmas ad with the X-Factor finalists singing their single Wishing upon a Star on it, and it isn't out until 28th November - seems like Cowell has wrapped up the no1 for the whole of December this year!

We Found Love should get a boost after it being on the Xfactor for like 20seconds! I really hope it re-climbs to number 1 next week. Pixie climb top 10 now please before Florence does :(

Well, JLS and Florence have both performed now - we shall see how much it affects them shortly I guess.I think JLS are heading for missing #1 :( But at least it'll be a better song holding them off, I prefer WFL to TACOM but I'd rather see TACOM at #1.

Pixie Lott's 9% ahead of 12, it's not going as fast as it should be going though!

I am not too sure that Jls will miss number one now, they closed 10% on Labrinth quite rapidly. Frustrating to see Pixie stalling outside the top 10.

Btw the M&S track isn't the charity single, it's just for the ad. The actual single is a cover of Wishin' On A Star by Rose Royce, and it also has JLS and One Direction on it as Simon was worried that the 'average' finalists weren't good enough to sell it :rolleyes:

Oh :( Ah well, hopefully it'll boost their album sales (although they'll probably still fall quite heavily week-on-week so it'll be hard to gauge the effect it has).

I hope this climbs a lot soon, I thought it'd be a bit higher by now...

 

JLS at #2, they'll definitely need to get to #1 on iTunes to have any hope of doing so officially but even if they do get there I get the feeling they'll lose it by the end of the week and fall enough for Rihanna to take the official #1 again.

 

I'm on TEAM JLS-BUT-DON'T-MIND-IF-RIHANNA-GETS-IT-EITHER.

Sorry, I try to not use abbreviations too much but I just sort of do it SUBCONSCIOUSLY. TACOM = Take A Chance On Me.

 

JLS stands for Jack the Lad Swing for the record :D

 

And SCD up there = Strictly Come Dancing :P

Pixie still not top 10 :o Maybe flo will overtake her before she gets there..

JLS will be #1 soon, its okay song and i like the guys, but i'd like to see WFL get a 4th week at #1 :P
