'Danza Kuduro' is overrated to death. UK finally has sense and (so far) doesn't allow this to be in the top-10. I'm going to sound like Eric Blob here but this song reminds me of about 10 nameless songs which remind me of another 20 songs I couldn't put name on them too because of their total BLANDNESS.

Okay, I'm probably not going to like this song either then. :lol: I think I might've heard it a while ago, and forgotten what it was called, so when I get round to hearing it, I might be like "Oh, I do know this". :lol:

On a similar note, I heard Video Games for the first time today, on one of my local radio stations. I quite liked it, although I was expecting a little bit better. I think it could re-climb into the top 10. It's quite different I think.

Video Games is back up to #12! Really hope it can have some good longevity (and hopefully beat Danza Kuduro into the top 10!)

I don't think either are likely to go top 10, Kelly has a huge lead over the #11.

Erm, it's a dance song with Spanish/Portuguese lyrics. It's incredibly distinctive, since it's the only song in the chart that isn't in English. You'll know if you've heard it.

In regards to Justin Bieber - the story is surely a complete lie. Bieber has always sworn chastity - claiming he doesn't believe in sex without 'love' (suggesting sex outside of wedlock isn't to his taste). More than likely a scam from the female wanting some $$$.

Sex without love ≠ sex outside of wedlock. I bet he's done the deed with Selena Gomez.

Okay. I probably haven't heard it then. :lol: Although I still don't really pay attention to the lyrics of dance songs. I was thinking I might've heard it on Floorfillers, since I listen to that a lot, and it sounds like the sort of thing that would get played on there. And I don't really bad an eyelid when I hear non-English lyrics on that show tbh. :lol:

I'm not sure, because both of them seem to have quite conservative attitudes.

Why don't you just listen to the iTunes preview of it?

I don't have iTunes atm. :( I could listen to it on Youtube though. Just that there's about 50 other songs I want to listen to atm, which I'm 90% sure I'll like. So I'll find myself opting for those over a song that I'm 90% sure I won't like, if you know what I mean. :lol:

Oh :lol: Yeah I understand what you mean, but whenever a song goes top 40 on iTunes, I just have to listen to it. It's become a habit! I'm not sure what you'd think of it, I myself am not a fan of Danza Kuduro though.

Come on 'Video Games'! I am so desperate for this to get higher, beyond obsessed with it right now.

Also Kelly's lead isn't that huge, certainly not impossible to overcome.

But what about conservative *hormones*? :P

Yes, it's good that we have the track sung not in English in the chart, but that is all for 'Danza Kuduro' and doesn't make the song significantly better.
New update (single version + album version + Nu:Tone remix of Read All About It, full version + radio edit of Earthquake, deluxe album version + standard album version of Lego House combined):

1 Professor Green Read All About It (feat. Emeli Sandé) 1.000000 [=]

2 Rihanna We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris) 0.966846 [+0.104509]

3 Labrinth Earthquake (Full Version) 0.832210 [+0.015804]

4 Cher Lloyd With Ur Love 0.761590 [-0.016078]

5 Ed Sheeran Lego House 0.541105 [+0.068789]

#1 effect in action with Rihanna gaining more than 0.1 since the last update. She should be #1 even with Green combined very shortly :D

Updateth (still all top 100 versions of RAAI/Earthquake/LH combined):

1 Professor Green Read All About It (feat. Emeli Sandé) 1.000000 [=]

2 Rihanna We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris) 0.968988 [+0.002142]

3 Labrinth Earthquake (Full Version) 0.853902 [+0.021692]

4 Cher Lloyd With Ur Love 0.729995 [-0.031595]

5 Ed Sheeran Lego House 0.577992 [+0.036887]

Rihanna hasn't pulled away enough to be challenging for a return #1 I think, Green's still #1 combined :(

Ignoring combined versions, Labrinth is coming quite close to overtaking Green now :o Green has a ~4.3% lead (~86.8% to ~83.1%).

:up: 2. Earthquake (Full Version) - Labrinth

:down: 3. Read All About It (feat. Emeli Sandé) - Professor Green

:w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

:up: 11. Video Games - Lana Del Rey

:down: 12. Danza Kuduro (Throw Your Hands Up) [Radio Edit] [feat. Don Omar] - Lucenzo & Qwote

:D + :( (seems Video Games is indeed 'doing a 'The A Team'' thus far, albeit without being in the top 10 for ages - although it could re-enter I guess)

Another update (RAAI/Earthquake/LH combined etc.):

1 Rihanna We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris) 1.000000 [+0.031012] {1.038392; +0.069404}

2 Professor Green Read All About It (feat. Emeli Sandé) 0.963027 [-0.036973]

3 Labrinth Earthquake (Full Version) 0.870743 [+0.016841] {0.904173; +0.050270}

4 Cher Lloyd With Ur Love 0.703202 [-0.026793] {0.730200; +0.000205}

5 Ed Sheeran Lego House 0.580495 [+0.002503] {0.602782; +0.024790}

Since Rihanna is now #1 combined I've added a secondary figure to show movement in relation to Professor Green. (Notice how Cher's absolute bar is still falling but she's actually marginally gained on Pro Green since my last update).

Labrinth now at over 90% of Green even with his 3 versions combined :o Maybe Labrinth could have greater longevity after all!

JLS is the only song set to debut within the T10 next week I reckon - so I think it'll be a case of multiple songs competing against each other for the #2 spot. At this stage, Rihanna and Labrinth both look like strong contenders to steal the crown from Professor Green, so I'm quite excited.

Great to see Lana del Rey back at #11 - I'd be thrilled if it were to re-enter the T10, I first heard it last week and haven't been able to stop myself from listening on repeat. Just wish the same could happen for Coldplay's 'Paradise' - it deserves a lengthy T20 run to make up for all the weeks it was chart inillegible.

Pixie Lott? (Tinchy Stryder, Modestep, Maverick Sabre and Loick Essien are also potential T10 hits).

Eeek, didn't realise how many songs were released - Maroon 5 could be in trouble.

JLS will no doubt push The Wanted (currently at #10) out

Pixie Lott will likely push Kelly Clarkson (currently at #9) out

Tinchy Stryder is the only other song I see likely to debut within the T10 - it's just a case of what it pushes out (Cher Lloyd, Maroon 5, Charlene Soraia or LMFAO - I think Sheeran has another week T10 in the bag).

Modestep'll be T30 (it sounds exactly the same as 'Sunlight'), Maverick Sabre will be T20 and Loick Essien will be T40.
