Any fans of Motivation should be on board with this. Produced by Jim Jonsin, featuring Drake, and I think it's Mary's current single although frankly it's easy to lose track.

I wasn't mad on Motivation but I LOVE this. Also she's performed an album track called Need Someone which is really QUITE SOMETHING ~

The album My Life II: The Story Continues is out Nov 21st. Her last one was a ridiculous disappointment and one of the worst albums of that year but I really think this might turn it around for Mary...

What a beautiful performance... :)

I'm looking forward to hearing this album. I generally find her a bit hit & miss, but she has an incredible catalogue behind her. As far as the last album goes, I only really liked "The One" & "I Am" Oh and her amazing rendition of "Stairway to Heaven" was an unexpected treat.

Oh wow! I LOVE this (well, I love Mr. Wrong at least). Motivation was also produced by Jim Jonsin, which is probably why they're a bit similar (he also produced Girls by N-Dubz, which is also VERY similar to Motivation, if only a bit less sexual).

But she has though. 'Be Without You' and (my personal favourite/one of my all time favourite tracks of all time) 'One' are both out of this world! Her version of 'One' is quite something. Anyway she was on Alan Carr tonight and she was brilliant. Possibly up there with Mariah Carey for me! Haha. So clueless about British Humour

She's apparently been approached for our version of The Voice! That would be INCREDIBLE. She HAS to say yes!

Album leaked. I'm listening through now, it's off to a surprisingly good start. Midnight Drive is great. The whole thing's pretty urban compared with her last three records.

Who's listened to this then? This is one of the more urban tracks (Next Level with Busta) for anybody considering giving the album a go

They are all still growing on me atm ^_^ so far Next Level stands out as my favourite  rather like No Condition as well

EDIT: This album is amazing the amount of times I've listened to it today now  no tracks need skipping!

Listening through the album now...

I got the UK version but also downloaded the US deluxe for 2 extra tracks.

I love Don't Mind the most so far (up to track 8).

EDIT: That annoying tag or whatever it is at the end of 'Why' really ruins it for me!

Agree on all counts. Don't Mind is my favourite (with Empty Prayers). The tag on Why is a bitch too, it's so out of place. Love A Woman is the worst song for me although it's still a 7/10. Superb album, possibly my second favourite of the year so far.

I agree that the album is superb!

It's very much an album, though. If that makes any sense at all? It flows very well as one cohesive piece of work, but after one listen it's hard for me to pick out individual favourites.

I'll have a few more listens and let you know my highlights :)

Empty Prayers sends a shiver down my back just from the first line, sounds really haunting I love it. My favourite is probably Mr. Wrong atm along with Midnight Drive & The Living Proof.
The album got to #76  fuming

I've been into R&B/Hip-Hop lately (probably gonna be my sound of winter 2011) so naturally this album was going to get a spin. Must say I'm pretty impressed. I love Next Level. The Rufus cover was unnecessary although it did feel good to find something familiar on there to which I could immediately sing to.

I like albums with alot of tracks but I do feel 18 is too much for this album, and sometimes I find her to be a little bit too scream-y and ott.

It's only really 13 if you discount that silly intro and the 4 average bonus tracks. The main album is a masterpiece though.
