Posted November 9, 201113 yr http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/71/Aura_Dione_-_Before_the_Dinosaurs.jpg Her 2nd album is as they say out there! It includes the amazing single Geronimo and follows her debut album Columbine (which was really rather good). I'm about to listen now, hope it lives up to my expectations! I also have a link if people want it btw ^_^ Edited November 9, 201113 yr by Liаm
November 9, 201113 yr That album cover looks horrible though  I quite like it. :P I LOVE 'Geronimo', so I'm going to give this a listen now, though I've not heard any of her previous material, so I don't quite know what to expect.
November 9, 201113 yr Author I quite like it. :P I LOVE 'Geronimo', so I'm going to give this a listen now, though I've not heard any of her previous material, so I don't quite know what to expect. Her previous stuff is rather different to Geronimo, more of a 'quirky folk-pop' sound. You have to check out I Will Love You Monday from her first album, it's still her biggest hit and it's AMAZING. Deffo in my top 200 of all time.
November 9, 201113 yr Hmm. Should be rather good. Geronimo was rather fancy, but not perfect. I wonder if there's anything outstanding on there. Anyone who's listened to it let me know how similar it is to Geronimo? :P
November 9, 201113 yr Author I've listened now, it's not really that much like Geronimo, it's closer to her first album I think, but still a good natural progression.
November 9, 201113 yr Linky pls :kink: Agree with Klumzee that the cover is horrible. It makes me think of female circumcision.

November 9, 201113 yr Geronimo sounds just like Just Dance. Her first album was OK-ish but I don't really have any interest in this one.
November 9, 201113 yr I love Geronimo and am glad its having success in Europe. I do hope it gets a UK release early next year though, its catchy enough to be a hit here with the right push IMO. Guess we will see. Also surprised the full video hasn't surfaced yet, they are taking their time. Edited November 9, 201113 yr by simonf
November 10, 201113 yr That album cover BEGGARS BELIEF. What is she trying to say? That her pussy resembles a ruby encrusted microphone? ODD and DISTURBING. She should've gone with the rather pretty image used for the Geronimo single art: http://www.avg123.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Aura1.jpg

November 10, 201113 yr Well, covers that make me queasy (when I look at the bottom half) aside, this is a decent album. I don't think it's groundbreaking or anything, and Geronimo is probably the best track. Friends is a wonderful piece of pop, however, and so is Masterpiece (despite being a little messy). Reconnect is interesting, America and Superhuman are good enough, I was expecting a little more from the title track, Into The Wild has some nice experimental stuff going on, and the rest I'm not particularly bothered about. Yeah, experimental is what I'd call this album. There's a lot of unique tracks on it, but I'm not seeing much that's totally AMAZEBALLS amazing.
