MLJ will easily be No.7 in about 1 day ^_^ . That should secure them another week inside The Top 10 by Sunday. :D

When I thought I couldn't hate Moves Like Jagger more, they look set to block The Saturdays from debuting in the top 10 with My Heart Takes Over ending their fantastic record! Typical Flo Rida also looking set to knock The Saturdays out of the top 10 as well!

What record is that?

What record is that?

I think he just means in general, The Saturdays have quite a fantastic record of top ten singles under their belt so far and it'd be a shame for this one to peak at a frustrating #11 or #12 (which is likely).

It's certainly not a T10 streak - nor is it a T20 streak. Perhaps they should just release better material, rather than rely on their dedicated fanbase to get another T10 single.

Surely Maroon 5 / Christina Aguilera and the rest of the T20 are more to blame for ending Westlife's unbeaten streak of T10 singles - 'Lighthouse' looks likely to even miss out on the T20!

 Drake / Rihanna #14

 Snow Patrol #32

Hopefully "This Isn't Everything You Are" can lodge itself in the top 30 until Sunday so it has a decent official position.

Drake & Rihanna, stop increasing and slow down until The Saturdays climb top 10 please, then increase all you want. The song is fantastic, they just work so well together.

If that's gonna happen i will cry all sunday long

Great to see Drake set to land another T40 hit - although it's annoying that it's cherry-picking, 'Headlines' and 'Marvin's Room' (the actual singles) didn't achieve this feat. Hopefully this era will prove successful for Drake, well more so than the previous. He seemed to be a big hit with R1 - but always falling short of the T40 ('Over' peaked at #50, 'Forever' at #42).

Flo Rida up to #2 and Maroon 5 back to #9 = further evidence that US material dominates the charts - at the expense of UK acts (One Direction + Charlene Soraia).

Marvin's Room was just a promo single I think, although Make Me Proud was a songle and missed the top 40 aswell. :(

I noticed the same about the UK/US thing. It seems like 95 per cent of the songs which have massive chart runs are by US artists.

I think it's more that most #1s which plummet from their peak are British. Quite a lot of long sellers from this year are British (Someone Like You, The A Team, Price Tag, Changed The Way You Kiss Me to an extent).

If that's gonna happen i will cry all sunday long

So will I - with laughter.

'Lighthouse' is a nice song but it's really underwhelming. It sounds like your standard 'cheesy upbeat album track that everyone likes but would never be released as a single.
Just catching up with the iTunes action and I'm quite surprised to see Flo Rida overtaking One Direction. Could OD end up losing out not just on the #1 spot by Sunday but also the #2 spot? :D

woow at how much Flo Rida's shot up from like nowhere :) deserves it though after the misses since Club Can't Handle Me

Remember when I saw the song on US Itunes Chart I thought looks good but probably won't do anything here <_<

How has it suddenly shot up? Has it been on some film or something? I haven't heard it much on the radio yet

To be fair they aren't even head to head in the iTunes chart. Without Flo Rida and Maroon 5 they could miss the top 10 too. LMFAO and Professor Green are both higher than the Sats. Plus My Heart Takes Over is a weak song anyway so I won't cry if they miss out.

Where did you find the itunes top 300! I use the official itunes and that's only top 200!

I'm not really sure. I've heard it only once on the radio so far. On Sunday, straight after the chart show on Radio 1. Infact, I've heard Avicii's song on the radio more than Flo Rida's so far (apparently it's being released on Sunday, so I think it could debut in the top 10 too)!

Nobody else seems to have heard it much on the radio either, but I think it's getting a lot of play on MTV. I think the top 10 effect did well for the song aswell, since it climbed very fast once it got in the top 10.

I can't believe how well Drake is doing! :o I would've predicted Take Care to chart at #87 or something, but it looks like it should chart in the top 30! :o I'd so love for the song to go top 10 on iTunes. It would probably get a big boost if it did, since it says "(ft. Rihanna)".
