I imagine we'll be saying a lot of things like this in the future now.

And then some members will make fun of us for it. :drama:

Also, can we calm down with the JLS hate? I honestly doubt they care that much about their top 10 streak. And if they do get top 10, well done to them, because most UK post-album singles miss the top 10, many missing the top 40, so JLS can show people how it should be done.

Just seen that Avril Lavigne - Keep Holding On has reappeared at #112. Apparently it's been used on CiN. Rather pleased about this, I must say, it's one of my favourite songs, and it's a shame it never got top 100.

Actually, Children In Need seems to have had a positive effect on the chart overall, lots of people are buying really good songs as a result of these performances, One Day Like This and Paradise looking to get new peaks as well are particular highlights. (of course I hope the charity does well out of it and it will, it's just nice the music has the bonus as well).

Yeah, I was thinking a while ago, a top 20 including the likes of Ed Sheeran, Drake, Elbow and Coldplay, in...2011!?! Is variety finally returning to the charts?

What does the 0.9, 1.1, 1.2 etc mean on the headings?

Tbf if you click on the link, it will tell you at the top in big black font.

JLS clearly do care about their top 10 streak Eric. That's why they release two singles before the album, only one single after the album and adding a version of their third single that includes Tinie Tempah in an attempt to go top 10.

Plenty of acts do that though... Sats for example with Flo on Higher and old Burkey with Pitbull on ANL - tbh JLS have done that once - they didn't do it with OS and dont appear to be doing it with this next single

I see RiRi is starting to close back up on Flo Rida. :)

Whoever ends up #1 tomorrow, I can see RiRi having a good chance of being #1 again a week Sunday...

XF appearance, plus cherry-picks from both her new album & Now 80. :)

The only significant release tomorrow seems to be by 'Oily Murk'.

Is Rihanna indeed performing 'We Found Love'?

I think Flo will either eventually get to #1 or do a 'Moves Like Jagger' to a lesser scale. It shot up high on iTunes with barely any airplay just like MLJ. Now the radios are picking up on it, so I expect a huge longevity for the single.

I'm not also sure whether One Direction will fall out of the top-10 next week. They're free-falling for now but it seems MLJ will finally leave out, and the only replacement on Sunday is Olly Murs. We might also have 'Marry the Night' and Rihanna cherry-pics too though later in the week.

We don't know what Rihanna is performing, it just depends if she chooses to promote the album by performing You Da One or a random album track or she chooses to promote the single by performing it.
I personally hope for We Found Love but we'll have to wait and see :P
Kworb has finally put UK iTunes. :yahoo:

http://kworb.net/popuk/

I was reading the last page in this thread and I saw someone post about a song being dark green and light red etc and I got confused as I didn't think Kworb launched the UK one yet.

 :cheer: Kworb>>>

Rihanna should do her next single. I don't think WFL needs anymore exposure. It's evidently going to be a million seller for here by this time next year...

I'd love her to appear with Coldplay on TXF final or something though I doubt Coldplay would ever reduce themselves to such a thing...

Yeah, Coldplay have already said they won't appear on X Factor. I find it a bit silly to turn down X Factor, because it's such fantastic promotion. But it's up to them what they do I guess.

And I agree, that Rihanna should absolutely not perform We Found Love. If she performs anything, it should be You Da One, or maybe even Take Care. I don't really want her to perform an album track, since they won't be released until a few hours after she performs I think, which might take away a lot of sales.

I don't really get it though, releasing remixes of songs is completely normal. It's been a very common practice in chart music (mainly urban music) for the past 10 years at least, and probably longer! Hundreds of artists release rap remixes of their songs every year, so I think it's unfair to single out JLS for it (people often also single out Katy Perry and Britney Spears for doing it this year, and ignore the 500 other artists that have done it too, which pisses me off tbh ). And I think Eyes Wide Shut got top 10 without the remix anyway, although it did get them a new peak when it was released.

I'd prefer her to perform We Found Love. For once I'd like Rihanna not to run too far ahead of herself.
They will probably play a 4 second clip of 'We Found Love' in Rihanna's VT before she performs. Those 4 seconds could shift another 2,000 downloads of the track alone. :D

I'm quite sure Rihanna will be performing 'We Found Love' since she performed the track on American XF only a few days ago.

Is her album really out this week? I thought it was the week after. :o

I'm not sure actually. It's been released in Australia and Ireland, so I assume it'd be released on Sunday here, but I honestly don't have a clue tbh.

I really hope Rihanna doesn't perform We Found Love. :( It'd be such a waste to perform it. It's already a million-seller. It's like Adele going on X Factor and singing Someone Like You to me. You Da One isn't very mainstream, and might probably not do very well, so I think it needs all the promotion it can get.
