Well looks like "We Found Love" will get a sixth week, although her performance is poor. She's not singing half of it. I was hoping Olly would take No.1 but i guess not probably :)

Looks like Olly's lead will be short lived, after her performance and the album out tomorrow.

Not sure he'd be a great judge, he's not exactly the best singer and hasnt had much experience. I really like the guy though and think he does a great job co hosting xtra factor! For judge, an ex-contestant, it'd be Leona, she's won 5 years ago now, achieved global success, great vocalist and knows what she's talking about when it comes to vocals and ofcourse being on the show, and then winning.

 

I dont think they'll be changing up the panel any time soon anyway now that its just been done, but who knows!

 

Rebecca Ferguson isnt going anywhere, maybe top 15 after X Factor, but everyone will be talking about Rihanna's performance..

 

Leona's career has pretty much bombed, I couldn't tell you one song from her last two albums and plus she's boring as hell. Cheryl isn't the best singer, same for Minogue, and Louis, Sharon and Simon couldn't even sing... it doesn't matter. He's a successful current popstar, more successful than Tulisa and doing better than Kelly.

I really didn't like Rihanna's performance! I heard she performed badly on US Xfactor too...

 

But there's no denying WFL is massive, and will be #1 for another week! She should have performed her new song though!

I don't think it's a foregone conclusion at all, Olly could still do it. How many copies do we reckon he's sold of his ep to get it to #1 in the album chart?

Lol, every Olly single has been frontloaded in the first week. Selling well then falling back a lot! It has only after a few weeks does he consistently sell the same amount...without the big day to day dips!!

Much like the majority of other British artists, Olly Murs does suffer from front-loaded purchasing. His previous singles have all peaked and fallen relatively quickly after leaving the T10. 'Heart Skips a Beat' is no exception, I believe it fell 10+ places from the T20 to #34 during its chart run.

I mean, as a week goes on. he could easily sell 15k today and sell 7k on SATURDAY. he's that kind

'We Found Love' getting a sixth week at no. 1 would be fantastic. It's been a genuine popular hit and the fact it's managed 5 weeks at no. 1 at this time of year (X Factor season without any X Factor performance until tonight). Rihanna could well do the double with having the no. 1 single and album next Sunday.

 

With Olly Murs performing on X Factor next Sunday there's a good chance his sales won't plummet too much in its second week.

 

Just a shame this X Factor charity single is getting released a week tomorrow as I'm sure it'll be another pointless cover that adds nothing to the music industry. Would actually be great to see 'Wishing On A Star' miss the #1 spot altogether. Sadly I suspect it will be no. 1 possibly for 1 week before it plummets never to be seen again after 6 weeks.

Olly Murs has done what Cher, The Wanted, JLS and One Direction failed to do and they all had an XF performance under their belts too.

 

I doubt he will remain at Number 1 after Rihanna's 'performance' on the XF though
