November 16, 201114 yr Nothing too thrilling going on. Hoping Christina Perri's new single clicks with people soon because it's absolutely stunning, she definitely deserves to be at least a two hit wonder!
November 16, 201114 yr Avicii AND Flo Rida both added to the C-list on the same week? Not really a surprise considering how well Flo Rida is doing right now and that 'Levels' is meant to be released next week, just quite funny.
November 16, 201114 yr It's weird that Drake has been added, because he hasn't actually announced what he's promoting as his 3rd single is yet as far as I'm aware. Perhaps they're just doing a Capital and seeing it high on iTunes and adding it. Good to see Wretch 32 added. I love the song. I don't think it'll do well in the charts though.
November 16, 201114 yr DRAKE :) and I like the Lloyd single The songs up to A-list are amazing and Flo is still there Adele, Emeli, Kasabian, Chase/Status & Kelly :yahoo:
November 16, 201114 yr The Drake and Rihanna song is amazing, glad it's been added even if it's not the third single.
November 16, 201114 yr Not really a surprise considering how well Flo Rida is doing right now and that 'Levels' is meant to be released next week, just quite funny. No actually 'Levels' isn't released until 01 January 2012 :( Still great to see them supporting both versions :)
November 16, 201114 yr Avicii added :D I think this could be a contender for first number 1 of 2012, Flo Rida added was pretty much a dead cert :P Edited November 16, 201114 yr by C.W
November 16, 201114 yr Avicii's release date has been brought forward to next Sunday (i.e. the 20th of November). I heard them say so on Radio 1 a couple of days ago.
November 16, 201114 yr Avicii's release date has been brought forward to next Sunday (i.e. the 20th of November). I heard them say so on Radio 1 a couple of days ago. That'd be this coming Sunday :o I hope its not too early, I don't think there's even a video yet
November 16, 201114 yr Yeah, I very much doubt 'Levels' would've been added had the release date still been January. I don't know what the logic is meant to be, I'd assume something to do with Flo Rida, but he's already made an impact so I don't quite see the point. 'Levels' could be a hit but I don't see it being as big as 'Good Feeling' at all.
November 16, 201114 yr It's 'Collide' situation all over again for Avicii, I can't see 'Levels' being big with Flo Rida already heading for top-3 this week or even #1 in the future.
November 16, 201114 yr Great to see Wretch 32, Drake, Flo Rida and Avicii all C-Listed this week. The Vaccines is a pretty standard add too - but the attraction of the double A-side is the new track "Tiger's Blood", had hoped they'd promote this track instead. Emeli Sande A-Listed is the best track on the playlist, I reckon. Odd that The Collective are out already - it'll no doubt be in the T40 next week and will need support to sell up until Christmas.
November 16, 201114 yr Its annoying that radio 1 just dont do something different like putting Flo Rida and Drake into the alist since its clear they are selling well. It always annoyed me when they tried OA/OS at the start of the year they still insisted on clisting songs that were released after the first play - stop being so conservative! Finally Paradis is out, its been in there 3 months - maybe Princess of China next week- please! Edited November 16, 201114 yr by steve201
