To be honest, as weird as this sounds. Missing You should have been The Saturdays first number one, I mean it had fantastic airplay and was promoted anywhere and everywhere.

This single must be #1!! Something needs to be done by TeamSats to get the single viral........and I mean VIRAL! :D

'Missing You' was utter crap, 'Higher' deserved it but that was a post album single and did remarkably well anyway.

Perhaps my blind love for one of THE best pop songs of the 21st century (imo) is blinding me but I feel it would've been MASSIVE had it been given the campaign Missing You had - not saying they didn't handle Higher well though.

Headlines! could have eventually gained a Platinum cert if it was continually handled as an album release. That way they would have had 2 Platinum albums under their belt. But meh maybe I'm just wishfully thinking....

Higher was beyond a fantastic pop song, If this was lead single and promoted like Missing You, I honestly think it could have opened with gigantic sales. Although I do see the logic, single 2 would have been hard to choose, Missing You would have flopped hard as single two.

Usually it would be The Saturdays, you would expect to miss out on the top 10. If Higher missed the top 10 it would have been beyond criminal.

 

I am sick of The Saturdays always getting negative critisim regarding themselves.

If anything I would see their management are doing a good job, I mean it may not be the best, but Una's getting headlines for giving birth, Frankie on Sports Relief, Mollie & Rochelle on Million Pound Drop & Rochelle getting married. It's good to see they're still in the public eye and it gives me hope for 30 days.

Looked on Irish iTunes On Your Radar is only #147 and the album is 4.99. Here's hoping that it could gain some new sales!

 

Hmm when are we getting the artwork and info? Mailer said this week.. probs tomorrow, right at the end of the week haha. Or they've forgotten :P

 

I know they can't help it that they filmed the video in Feb to acommodate Una and the baby, but this feels really dragged out.. tired of waiting.

WOW, this is going to underperform again isin't it. I expected it to premiere on Capital Fm or Radio1. I pray Radio1 will support this song! Anyway I can wake up tomorrow knowing I can hear this song.

 

The Saturdays have literally announced NO DETAILS what so ever for this song.

Lord this campaign hasn't even started and it already feels like a mess. They have to get this right... nobody knows about this single other than the mailer/hardcore fanbase and they haven't even used their Facebook or Twitter or anything to promote the first radio play of it (which is now tomorrow thanks to a tweet not from them but from a radio station!), nor a single cover, nor a release date.. nor anything. There's barely no hype or interest outside of the die hard fans and it's like they're not even trying to get any interest.. and the premiere is tomorrow AM...?! Jeez they can never do anything right.. I'm even more worried about radio support now if the big radio stations won't premiere it.. ffs. We wouldn't even know about a premiere if Lincs FM had never tweeted about it!? I hope this doesn't mean the major stations will ignore them now.. Ignore me haha I'm just fretting and overanalysing, I just want this to all go well for once.

 

The Sats camp haven't mentioned anything. Radio 1 premiered all 3 singles from On Your Radar and now a regional radio that won't have as big a scale of listeners in Lincoln is premiering it? I'm worried now, lol. Although I'm looking forward to hearing it at long last, I want this to do well because they need it to. Hmm.

Seems official. It's on their Facebook page, in the album where they've uploaded pictures direct from themselves before (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=pu.14110526543&type=1). It looks too fanmade! :mellow: But it is only a cover I guess, they look nice (apart from that vile lipstick) but I guess it's just because I've seen these pictures of them before and looks so cut and paste. Must definitely be an OYR re-release now then.

I like the cover, but it's annoying they used pictures we've seen before...that reminds me to Sugababes' Ugly, but in this case nobody is leaving the group...they have even done more photoshoots this year!

I'm really excited for this, and it does sound like it should be great! :D But, like it's already been said, The Saturdays haven't even officially announced the première tomorrow, so not as many people will know about it. Plus, they're releasing against fun. and Tulisa, so the #1 is already gone. :(

 

I really hope they have a huge campaign for this single, similar to 'Missing You', so they can get a huge hit that is long overdue.

Just when I thought they picked a good release week on 29th April! Oh well...they obviously won't outdo fun.!
