Unless is a re-issue like they did with Chasing Lights or Headlines! (which would be a great idea, in my opinion) I don't think there will be a heavily promoted album release this year. This summer they'll be busy with Una and Rochelle's weddings and the rest of the year they'll probably be either recording the US show or promoting there...so they just don't have time for a proper album campaing in the UK.

They could be releasing a digital singles compilation for the US, like The Wanted have done (in their case it's an EP including previous singles and new songs).

The NY will probs be better for a high chart position (like Headlines!) anyway, and I guess they could still release singles this year, like one in the summer and maybe a christmassy one?

xxx---xxx

they are not far off #13 and then its a home run to #11, but they will have to gain quite a bit on #10!

Hurdles will be breaking from #11 to #10 and then breaking from #8 to #7.

they are quite close from #7 to #5, and #4 and #3 are close.

4-5 would be an excellent outcome TBH.

obvs all this tweeting is helping over there too, coolness.

i really want this to break the top ten, i'll rest easy when it does.

does anybody know how long Tulisa was #1 on EP or any other acts? just to give us an indication? Thats the only promo they have on iTunes, even Mel C has got a thumbnail!

I think Tulisa's EP was #1 the whole of the first day of release.. and then it started falling. Not too sure though. I think the actual song itself was also around #11, at this time on her release day, then leapt to something like #7 later on. Again, not 100% sure but I think I recall something like that for her release day pattern.

OK thanks. I wanna aim high and think top 3, but Im afraid of getting hurt. This is where my heart takes over.

Its easier to compare with recent songs than say Missing You when the charts have changed so much over 2 years!

I might be wrong though! I'll see if the iTunes thread in the Chart forum for the week Tulisa's single came out is still around and see if we can see how her release day pattern went. I think Rita Ora hitting #1 last week was pretty instant.. think she started at around #40 and then jumped straight up to the top (correct me if I'm wrong!! I wasn't paying much attention to the release days last week or the week before haha so apologies if some of it is off, I'm just going by vague memory lol).

Come on girls! :)

Hopefully there isn't a big gap between #11 and #10..

So 2 hours ago it was #24, it's now #11.

Oooo new Irish peak! :)

Gap between #11 and #10 is something between 3-4% :)

Livepopbars hasn't updated since they were at #14 but this is how it looks:

Rita Ora 100%

Carly Rae Jepsen 85%

Fun. 80%

Tulisa 75%

Alex Clare 65%

Rihanna 55%

Train 50%

Jessie J 40%

Nicki Minaj 40%

Far East Movement 40%

Gotye 32%

Rascal Flatts 30%

Calvin Harris 30%

Saturdays 35%

So when they hit #10 they have a good shot of moving up further quite quickly.

Lol why the sad face? If there is a bit of gap it'll probably take a bit of time to reach it, but surely it will? Or hopefully iTunes is taking a while to update! Then hopefully they'll have a bit of a top 10 booster effect.. and then probably plummet and end up at like #9 come Wednesday lol. Maybe a midweek price reduction to 79p if things take a turn for the worse.

Are there any lists for where their previous singles were at around this time (2.10pm)? Sorry missingyou! :P

MY HEART TAKES OVER

2.12pm - #29

3.00pm - #27 & #71

ALL FIRED UP

3.30pm - #33 (EP), #2 (singles)

MISSING YOU

3.00pm - #12

Probably not much point comparing the others, as the charts have changed a lot over the last 18 months!

All Fired Up :( It shot up so quickly and things looked so positive for #1.

#10 38.75%

#11 35.00%

Needs to gain a bit. They should, like Lee said previously, reach the top 10 by 4pm. :)
