Does anyone have any experience with preording an album from Play? An album out on the 28th was despatched today, should I expect it on Saturday, Monday or earlier?

Because the song is dull compared to his previous hits? He's usually pretty solid and I am a fan but DWMT is awful. Apparently these X Factor acts can't always release anything and expect an instant #1 anymore...

But it seems like Rihanna can. DWMT isn't awful, its a good song.

If this is true, GAME OVER!

But, don't run away from your cause just yet!

The only reason I care is that it would be nice for him to be performing his song on X Factor as number 1, I usually couldn't care less about chart positions. Sales are what matter and I know he's doing very well there, I'll leave worrying about chart positions to teenage girls. It's just an illusion to bump sales up, some weeks you can sell about 5 copies and get number 1 so there's no real value in it.

She took 2400 in one day, before the weekend effect even starts. If she does that tomorrow, the lead will be down 1600. SHe might regain it by Friday. This should be interesting.

"was 6k lead yesterday, now its half....come on Murs Army!!!" Was Olly's manager's tweet to me 5 minutes ago. Not happening is it. She's obviously not as well informed as you chart boffins (and me now) if she thinks it's still a goer. White flag time!

Close chart battles are always a good way to emulate the fans and get more sales. Even if he ends up at #2, the chart battle will get him a lot more sales because of the fans desperately trying to make it stay at the top.

Olly is doing so well, he's got a dedicated fanbase. But i dont think it can compete with Rihanna's of all people  This will most likely be her 6th week at the top, and its already sold well over 600,000 copies :o

Rebecca Ferguson still doing well to be in top 10, i think she'll end up at #10 come Sunday officially, because i see her dropping out top 10 on iTunes soon with Marry The Night coming in maybe Fri/Sat.

Glad Paradise still top 10 too :D

Take Care likely to peak in top 10 this week (higher then on its first week! :o)

It Will Rain  #15

Talk That Talk single entries in top 100:

We Found Love #2 & #21 & #48 & #87

Talk That Talk #20 (Got to be a single!)

You Da One #24

Where Have You Been #41 (another single!)

Fool In Love #73

Red Lipstick #76

Do Ya Thang

Cockiness (Love It) #99

Dont Let Go #31, Little Mix really did well with that song!

Avicii doing so well with Levels #5 & #32

Who You Are #34, hopefully manages to stay top 40 till Sunday and then X Factor shoot it top 10!

Love On Top  #51 (video now being shown on UK TV channels) Countdown was over very quickly which is a shame but expected.

Disapointed Up hasnt gone top 40 #69 at the moment. They had Strictly too!

Jessie J has been this years most overused X Factor artist. She's performing Who You Are next week and along with Coldplay & Michael Buble are supposed to be the X factor final duets.

Not Buble again!

They love Buble, and no doubt they think Little Mix will be in the final then as they really want to perform with Jessie J!
I thought Coldplay said they'd never appear on The X Factor!
They did, that's why I was a bit confused, however their album has not exceeded expectations and it's the perfect promotion.

Vomit inducing show then..... I'll skip it I think

The rumours about the duets are never totally right. Wouldn't surprise me to see Buble trotted out though. I'd want him if I was them then I could enjoy runner up success!

Rihanna's not going to overtake Olly tomorrow. It'll be the same story we've already seen so many times in the past few weeks. She'll overtake on Friday.

True, how would you duet with Coldplay anyway? Surely that'd mean just mean Chris Martin! If the unlikely event that these were true I'd presume Coldplay would duet with Janet, Little Mix with Jessie J and Michael Buble with Marcus. I'd assume those three are the most likely finalists right now anyway.

So you're just guessing and it isn't a fact...

Is Emeli Sande released next week? Think she might have a chance at finally snatching number one from Rihanna? 'Daddy' is an incredible song.

She might get an x factor slot soon, no?

It is out next week but I can't see it going any higher than about 8 or 9 to be honest. It's very poor compared to 'Heaven'. (If any of the new releases go to #1 it'll be The X Factor Finalists 2011/JLS/One Direction - but given recent form it wouldn't surprise me if Rihanna ends up coming from behind a sixth time to get an insane 7th week at #1 :o)

She doesn't have an XF slot this Sunday.
