I really want either Olly Murs or T-Pain to get #1 next week. I haven't heard the Lloyd song yet. Also wouldn't mind Flo Rida or Rihanna getting there. Just hopefully XFF won't hold on with their 2nd week physicals like they did last year. I'm a bit worried that we're heading for a really low sales week it could take advantage of :(

But did XFF 2010 perform again a week later to give its second week a boost. I can't remember.

No, it stands for 'Teddy'.

Anything *but* Lloyd or T-Pain, from my pov. ;)

People like that T-Pain song? Christ. When I heard it a few weeks ago I thought it was a parody/joke, I never once thought people would actually like it.
That's because 'Champagne Showers' and 'Countdown' are dreadful and surely even the most die hard fans would admit these two songs are dreadful. I don't exactly like 'Sexy And I Know It' but let's face it, it's a masterpiece compared to 'CS'. At least 'Love On Top' has a tune to it. 'Countdown' is just a bit odd for me, there are elements that work but most of the track is a big mess - too much emphasis on the production and very little on the actual song itself (ie; 'Countdown' is an excellent instrumental).

Countdown is fantastic imo. Lots of people like it, and it was one of the most hyped songs when the album came out.

But then again, I'm one of those people that listens mainly to the instrumental in songs (apart from rap songs I guess), so that could be why I love Countdown.

I agree though, it's quite messy, and not very radio-friendly compared to Love On Top and Best Thing I Never Had. I honestly get the impression with Beyonce that after Single Ladies, she's been trying to make more songs like that with the weird club-esque beats (e.g. Run the World, Countdown, etc.). Single Ladies got tons of radio support, without being very radio-friendly really, but I think that was really an anomally tbh.

Champagne Showers, I think wasn't as popular for two reasons. Firstly, it's not as quirky and original as Party Rock Anthem and Sexy And I Know It. It's just your standard rap club banger really. Not anything really special about it, and alcohol is a subject that's been done to death. And secondly, the chorus is a bit of an ear-sore, let's be honest. I got used to the chorus after a few listens, so I don't mind it now, but I can honestly understand that it's so shrill, that a lot of people wouldn't want to go and listen to it again, hoping it would grow on them.

I actually love Champagne Showers, and this is coming from someone who HATES LMFAO (S&IKI and PRA are in my 5 worst songs of the year) :o

Love On Top is also Beyonce's worst single in AGES :( I do like it to some extent but it's pretty beige, it really doesn't do much to stand out in her discography.

Me neither. I'm really shocked so many people like it.

You forgot Flo Rida. :kink: Although his is certainly the most pop-friendly out of the three, by far.

Love On Top is Beyoncé's worst single since, er, Run The World (Girls) which was a million times worse. The HOLY TRIO of appalling Beyoncé songs is IIWAB, SL(PAROI) and RTW(G). Love On Top isn't quite bad enough to make that a quartet but it's probably her fourth worst single for me.

EDIT: Fifth worst, I forgot about 'Broken-Hearted Girl' :puke:

^This :(

 3. We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris) - Rihanna

 4. Wishing On a Star (feat. JLS & One Direction) - The X Factor Finalists 2011

Now down to #5, and barely above #7... :w00t:

I just wanted to say;

I would rather have T-Pain at #1 than Lloyd. I love 5 O'Clock () but I'm not too keen on Dedication To My Ex ;) Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it, but I don't get the universal praise for it

Countdown was AMAZING  Love On Top is awful :puke2:

I hated Party Rock Anthem (:puke:) but I loved Sexy & I Know It!

Over & out :P

Yeah I like Love On Top, its a nice song. Catchy, and positive vibe, but ofcourse not one of Beyonce's defining songs. Its got an old school vibe to it as well which i like. :) Really hope it can go top 10!

You are seriously calling 'If I Were A Boy', 'Love On Top' and 'Broken-Hearted Girl' her worst singles? :o

They are some of her best. I'd happily prefer to listen to any of them instead of 'Crazy In Love' and 'Halo'.

Crazy In Love and Halo :o They are two Beyonce Anthems!

 Just shows how different people's opinions can be! :heehee:

Beyonce singles top 5 :P

01 Listen (if it counts :P

02 Halo

03 If I Were A Boy

04 Broken Hearted Girl

05 Sweet Dreams

(06 Crazy In Love)

I  "Love On Top". It's very 80s.

Yeah, it sounds like "old-school". I always find myself listening to old RnB songs, and wishing songs like that could be popular today, and now we have one. :yahoo: Such a lovely song.

And, for the record, I also love Crazy in Love. The sampled bit with the brass instruments is so epic. Other Beyonce favourites of mine are Bonnie & Clyde, Video Phone, Deja Vu, Beautiful Liar (the ORIGINAL, not that weird airy-fairy remix they played on the radio 75% of the time), Single Ladies, Party, I could go on for a while here...

I hardly ever like the Bey songs everyone else does. I'd rather gauge my ears than listen to the cloying sentimentality of Best Thing I Never Had. She definitely hasn't had the hit rate with me she had with Destiny's Child.

1)Crazy in Love

2)Sweet Dreams

3)Why Don't you Love Me?

4)Broken Hearted Girl

5)Me Myself and I

6)Baby Boy

03 Bonnie and Clyde and Telephone if they count make the grade too.

Lego House  #5

Wishing on a Star  #6

Lego House is definitely one of my favourite songs of the year  I really disliked his first 2 singles though, so this really shocked me

What are the chances of XFF 2011 being out of the iTunes top 10 by Sunday evening? :D

It's going to have such a dreadful chart run - likely to be the worst #1 chart run since 'Islands In The Stream' in 2009.
