My iTunes feed is being shit and reverty again (showing Mariah at #39) so I'm gonna wait until 8:15 to do today's top 100 update. Hopefully it will have fixed itself by then.

EDIT: Nope, still messed up. I'll wait until 8:30 then :P

Interesting to see 'Re-Wired' now top 100. I think it would have been there for most of last week if you took out all the Now! 80 entries (most of which were multiple entries of songs that were already high up the chart). It did get #96 officially without ever going top 100 on iTunes until now - wonder if it'll climb this week?

Any chances that the X Factor Finalists won't make it 2 weeks in a row at #1?

I don't think they will. Whstever they sell this week (ie; 100k), I'm almost convinced it'll have a week-on-week decrease of at least 50% so next week would be looking at 50k. It's just a shame it looks set to be #1 as this is possibly the biggest non no. 1 of the year. -_- (ie; the least deserved imo). :(

Says a lot that both Olly Murs and Flo Rida have overtaken on iTunes. Will be interesting to see how far 'Wishing On A Star' will have dropped by Sunday evening.

WOAS is definitely NOT the worst #1 (it's likely to be #1 on Sunday) this year. Bear in mind 'Don't Wanna Go Home' and 'Swagger Jagger' both made it to #1 this year. Now they are terrible #1s.

19. Beyonce - Love On Top

20. Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas (This could go top 10 as Justin Bieber's released his video of All I Want For Christmas)

36. James Morrison & Jessie J - Up

Don't Wanna Go Home is AWFUL. :puke: So dull.

She Makes Me Wanna and All About Tonight are also just as awful imo. We've had some absolutely DREADFUL #1s this year, come to think of it.

And a lot that I didn't mind at the time, but I've gotten very bored of now, like On the Floor, Don't Hold Your Breath, Party Rock Anthem, Give Me Everything, Louder and Glad You Came. I liked them at the time, but I'll never listen to them again now. Extremely forgettable.

On the topic of forgettable, dull, and all round DREADFUL songs, Fight For You down to #12! :cheer:

'Marry The Night' video has leaked! Hopefully once it hits the music channels it'll rise into the top 10.

Just watched it, I love it!! Can't believe it's 13mins long tho haha :o

What song does 'Fight For You' sample?

Go Olly! :D Very shocked at how succesful he's been. It could end up outselling HSAB which was quite big. :o (and I thought he'd never have another huge hit again after HOMS and Busy both underperformed)

HOMS was a load of crap and Busy had no promotion. But mainly all his fanbase had the album. I can't see DWMT getting anywhere near HSAB which has sold well over 400,000 copies.

That Wretch 32 song that got to number 1 was terribly dull aswell.

That's one of my favourite #1s of the year. My sister said the other day that she thinks it's boring aswell. :( I don't know why so many people think that! It's so catchy and epic, in my opinion, and the lyrics and incredible too, especially compared to most of the other #1s.

My absolute least favourite #1 this year is Grenade.

When you realise that the Wretch 32 song 'Don't Go' is about his love for music rather than a woman, it becomes 100 times better.

Wow.Good find. I never thought of it like that before. :o But reading the lyrics again, it actually makes more sense if it's about the rap game than if it's about a woman.

There's a lot of songs which do that type of thing (and probably more which I haven't noticed). Like a recent example being Roll Up by Wiz Khalifa, sounds like it's a song about a girl, but it's a song about cannabis. Although I think a lot of the time they deliberately write it so it can be interpreted both ways.

So glad to see UP finally taking off, #35. :D

I heard it on the radio the other day. It's not too bad.

Lay It On Me by Kelly Rowland seems to have peaked (for now). :( It's done better than I expected, but part of me was hoping it's get popular 3 months early (like What's My Name? and Airplanes did).

Great to see Chase N Status, J Cole and Kanye West/Jay-Z climbing.

Also, is T-Pain's song released next week? Maybe it's a #1 contender. It's one of those songs everybody seems to love in real life, but everybody on the Internet seems to hate it. A bit like The Time by the Black Eyed Peas, and that got to #1, so...

Mirror by Lil Wayne would be absolutely MASSIVE if it was getting more promotion. I think its radio airplay must be very minimal at the moment, so it's already doing so well.

Rizzle Kick's new tune is doing so well aswell. People are loving the music video for it. I liked it too, it makes me laugh.
