I wonder if the download albums market has matured enough now, to start having an effect similar to the post-Xmas boost for singles?

Mind you, even if there was, it'd probably be masked by the massive post-Xmas drop in physical album sales.

#16 - Love On Top :D Climbing well keep going!

I'd rather Down For Whatever stay top 10, because either way it'll be top 10 on iTunes after her X Factor performance so not much point leaving now  It is really catchy now, but its not her best by a long shot. Cant believe the album isnt even top 40! :o

I LOVE the Marry The Night video. It's personal  Definitely my favourite from this era so far:

Hope the song shoots into the top 10 (and stays there longer that 10 minutes)

Totally agree about the MTN, it's as close as we've ever got music video wise to a look into Gaga's psyche, I hope it finally sends the song top 10...

I would absolutely LOVE '5 O'Clock' to be a #1 but I doubt it. Lloyd/André 3000/Lil Wayne's 'Dedication To My Ex (Miss That)' is also out next week which could be a big hit/potential #1. I think it'll just be Flo Rida or Rihanna though, or XFF holding on with second week physical sales.

Amy Winehouse's Our Day Will Come is out next week on 'Lioness - Hidden Treasures', it obviously won't be #1 but I hope it can at least be a fourth top 10 hit for her (ridiculous she's had so few and one of the three was already a posthumous one!)

Clearly the worst #1 of the year by some distance is 'What Makes You Beautiful'.

We've had some pretty poor number ones this year though (as I guess in most years). "Promises" by Nero was another very weak song to hit the top.

ITV: Coldplay confirmed to perform on X Factor Final on Sunday 11th December at Wembley Arena

Maybe Paradise after 10 years at 11-13 will enter to top 10!?!?!

Now this surprises me... I bloody hope they do "Paradise" though. Would it be wishful thinking for it to do a "Bad Romance" / "What's My Name?" and go to #1 when the winner's single tails off?

Olly Murs still hanging onto #1, I thought Flo Rida would have tackled him by now. I wonder if there could actually be a very small chance Olly could climb to #1 in his third week? It'll be completely by default and on really low sales if so but that'd be brilliant if it happened anyhow.

Combined pop bars for the top 10 (as of last LPB update):

1 1.000000 Olly Murs Dance With Me Tonight [#1 + #22]

3 0.746659 Rihanna We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris) [#4 + #32 + #81]

4 0.676877 The X Factor Finalists 2011 Wishing On a Star (feat. JLS & One Direction) [#3]

5 0.664440 Avicii Levels (Radio Edit) [#5 + #37]

Shit line up apart from Coldplay

Coldplay and Buble are proper quests. Leona is ok (though not the super-guest).

But JLS and One Direction? Oh please!

Cant wait for Leona

I still haven't heard Flo-Rida's new single. Where have I been?
Shit line up apart from Coldplay

Agree. :nocheer:

Leona is obviously another good one as she is the biggest name to come out of the show. But the rest...

What has Leona Lewis got to promote?

She's got a new EP out later this year, so I'm guessing it'll be for that.
