I agree with the 'sounds thrown together' comment but I kind of love that about it, in the sense that she can go from a 'urban track' like I Am Your Leader to a generic banger like Automatic and get away with it. It was obvious that she was going to change her sound, and it's clearly worked in her favor, just look at how Starships is performing.

After listening to this on repeat for over 3 hours, I actually MUCH prefer it to Pink Friday, which (bar Superbass) for me sounds terribly dated already.

02 Roman Holiday

03 I Am Your Leader

02 Beez In The Trap

07 Starships

06 Pound The Alarm

05 Automatic

02 Stupid Hoe

SUCK A BIG DICK.

'Pound The Alarm' is f***ing amazing, like Nicki's version of 'Till The World Ends' which can ONLY be a good thing.

I really think Nicki has chance of going to number one next week, she obviously has a fantastic fan base now and I am sure all she will need to go to number one is around 30,000sales. I can't see Labrinth doing anything major, can't really see him being an album artist.

I have only heard Roman Holiday, Starships, Young Forever, Marilyn Monroe(Which are all amazing) and Stupid Hoe(The less said the better)

I can't help but think Va Va Boom is going to be a massive hit, the preview sounds fantastic and I really think I will adore this song.

Yeah I really hope so, would be an incredible feat seeing as female hip-hop albums rarely do that well (I know some of it is pop, but still). And I can't wait to hear 'Va Va Voom', annoyed it's not on the regular edition, maybe it could be this years 'Super Bass' and be a huge hit despite only being a bonus track. Saying that, 'Pound The Alarm' is such an OBVIOUS single choice, she'd be stupid not to release that.
SUCK A BIG DICK.

Bitch I will ;), Im curious to see sales figures in Americ when its released, none of the PF singles did anything major before its release yet the first week figures were huge. Hopefully people will realise in this case its quantity over quality...

Just giving this my first listen through now. It's definitely not as terrible as a couple on here have made it sound like. But on the flip side, it isn't as great as the others have said about it so far either. I'm listening to it in order and I'm on track 7 now, 'Champion'. This is one of my favourites in the first few tracks I've heard so far.

Don't get the love for 'Roman Holiday' at all. It's quite annoying for me. 'Come On A Cone', 'Hov Lane', 'Roman Reloaded' and 'Champion' are my favourites so far. The other 3 are a bit bleh for me, but I'm sure at least one of those will grow on me with more listens. I can't wait until I get to the poppy Nicki though! She really should have done a double disc album. Disc 1 the Roman side and then Disc 2 the Nicki, poppy side. She could have gotten away with something like that.

Yeah I definetly prefer poppy Nicki and the poppier side of the album, 'Pound The Alarm', 'Whip It', 'Automatic', 'Beautiful Sinner', 'Marilyn Monroe' and 'Young Forever' are my favourites I think.

LMAO. My rate is going to look loony thanks to the poppy side of the album! :o This album is brilliant thanks to the more poppy songs. I completely get what she means too when she described her album as "it's not one genre. It's not a pop, rnb, hip hop album. It's a Nicki album." She has the same effect as what Katy Perry does, completely makes the most generic songs, work and sound less generic than they should!

STANNING SO HARD FOR THIS RIGHT NOW!

I was worried for this album after those few awful buzz tracks, but it's brilliant! As good as "Pink Friday"!

I don't see how it sounds thrown together. I think she did an amazing job at capturing every dimension of her multiple personalities within the variety of the album.

Anyways this is an amazing album. I actually love every song minus 'Sex In The Lounge'.

I really needed some good upbeat music to lift my spirits right now, and 'Young Forever' really hits close to home.

Listening now. Most of the seven tracks that I'd already heard are in the "pop" half of the album, and I'm still on the "hip hop" half, and I'm really not enjoying the songs :( "Roman Holiday" and "HOV Lane" are listenable, but everything else up to "Roman Reloaded", I can see myself deleting from the album (and a few that I've not listened to, but can tell from the titles will be awful) after just 1 listen. I'm looking forward to the "pop" block though, so maybe there's a decent poppy album in there somewhere.

If you weren't so ugly, I'd put my dick on yo face.

OMG AMAZING.

Beautiful Sinner and Gun Shot are my new favourites. I can't understand a word she says in the latter though, but I love it. Reminds me a lot of Your Love.

I would very much like links to both those songs then please :D

This album is on REPEAT! So, so good.
