December 3, 201113 yr Author You don't know 100% percent it's auto tune. I think people heard you say you thought it was the first time. Why post 3 times it's auto tune? I know a lot of the songs don't sound autotune and nobody from Bournemouth thought it was autotuned... if you go and see them and feel it's autotuned them come back. You're being a broken record. On a brighter note, there was a picture taken from the stage tonight (during the support acts) and the arena looked pretty full besides seats at the top tier at the very back. :D Can you link me to this picture? A lot of people usually miss the support act as well too! And I love how much audience interaction there is in taht Last Call video. ^ :) It's simple things like waving and smiling and doing love heart gestures that can really make someones night. :D Edited December 3, 201113 yr by lee wallace

December 4, 201113 yr I can't really hear any live auto-tune in 'Forever Is Over'? I've just found this performance of 'Promise Me'. LOVE Rochelle in the chorus! GSBkx78EXsE

And im about to make it a 4th. It is autotune, i work with the stuff. Its so apparent in Forever Is Over, Ego (fot obvious reasons), Get Ready Get Set, Do What You Want With Me... Need i go on? Im not sugesting they're using it all the time, but why they feel the need to use it is bizarre. Stop being so blind, it's there and they're using it. Don't double post as well please.
December 4, 201113 yr I think the auto tune is more prominent on Vanessa's mic because Frankie and Rochelle have some quite obvious sharp notes and flat notes in their solos. I'd like a HD performance to really make sure though. Do what you want with me is such a SHAME live. I wish Rochelle took over the belting part of the chorus because Vanessa's just pathetic. I really want to insult her on twitter lol. She needs to either fix up or get gone.
December 4, 201113 yr These videos aren't high quality enough to tell if auto-tune is present. Regardless, if Vanessa is using auto-tune that just proves my point even more that her vocals are damaged to f***.
December 4, 201113 yr I find it strange how Frankie used to do all the singing in S Club Juniors yet now she's 4th best out of 5 behind Rochelle in The Saturdays! Do what you want with me is such a SHAME live. I wish Rochelle took over the belting part of the chorus because Vanessa's just pathetic. I really want to insult her on twitter lol. She needs to either fix up or get gone. Eh? If members of The Saturdays were binned off for not being the strongest singers Vanessa would be performing solo! She's the worst looking but she's the best singer.
December 4, 201113 yr The show does actually look a lot better with more videos coming in now. :) What would have been cool along with some pyrotechnics for the Notorious entrance would have been for them to each fly between the long curtains they use for the section where Missing You is sung! December 4, 201113 yr Vanessa was just as bad during Ego in Liverpool. "Auto-tune malfunction"... the only thing malfunctioning is her vocal chords, tbh.

I don't think it would be very safe for Una to fly..

Come join us in 2011 and not Vanessa hay days before 2009 and you're find that you're very wrong. Obviously it wouldn't work if Vanessa actually left cos they'd need a 5th member but vocally Vanessa is number 3 if not 4 now. her voice is not solo material and nether is her persona. Rochelle is the best singer now "Promise Me" proves that, she carried that chorus like Vanessa used to and Una is definitely second strongest so... :)
December 5, 201113 yr I agree that she's not lead singer material, she always looks miserable and she's not a star as evidenced by her early exit on that opera programme. I thought she might win that but she was very disapointing, I used to be impressed with her vocals. It's no wonder they aren't selling many records then with no outstanding singers and no Beyonce type lead. Edited December 5, 201113 yr by BuzzLightyear
December 6, 201113 yr Author All of these reports have been laughable. Their Jingle Bell & Tour performances have had excellent reviews. Bournemouth, Liverpool were sell outs and whoever reported Cardiff was empty couldn't be more wrong as in fact they had ANOTHER SELL OUT.
December 6, 201113 yr In terms of vocal ability and vocal consistency at this point in time, the person who's the best in the band is Rochelle. Although she rarely nails it in performances, she is the most consistent singer in the band, and I really can't remember there being a time where she's had a bum note or a terrible performance. Una is a very close second for me, OYR is pretty much Una's album IMO, however she either nails it or kills it in live performances. Vanessa although cracking and having many terrible performances, she still has the most powerful voice. Mollie is fourth, for me she has improved the most and I'm glad she is getting more lines in the new album, I think she has covered some of Frankie's lines in recent live performances, and has sounded a lot better than Frankie herself. Frankie, while she doesn't have an awful voice at all, I just find her so weak and quiet sometimes, and we've seen her belt her notes before, and she's fantastic, not sure why she doesn't do it more often, mabye she's scared? That's just my opinion on it anyway. :)
December 6, 201113 yr Author OMG, I just won 4 tickets to see The Saturdays at Nottingham on Monday!!!!!
December 6, 201113 yr I'm completely at a loss now cos Vanessa sounded fantastic at the Jingle Bell Ball 'Forever is over'. And I'm not talking about the very strongly backing tracked chorus but her actual ad-libs. As if she had to prove herself, he last note run in particular was great, the tone, strength AND vibrato was just a good change to hear. Maybe she's on the road to recover and more tour performances will be like that.

They might be a bit tuned at times but who cares if it sounds good!
December 6, 201113 yr Congratulations Lee :cheer: If you can't think of anyone to invite, or you can't make it, you know who does live right near Nottingham..:kink:
December 6, 201113 yr Lee how did you win the tickets? :o Well done! :D I'm worried I won't make the Glasgow show next week. :( The snow is BAD here and apparently is only going to get worse, I bet the trains will be cancelled and I won't be able to go! :(
