How can I see the popularity bars in iTunes 9 & 10?

Use this link: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore...aultSeeAllSongs

Then select 'View' and tick 'popularity', alternatively, in the headings bar (Artist, Album, Time, etc), right click and select 'popularity'

I think the LLoyd song especially would have been in the lower end of the top 10 by now similar to rizzle kicks first single, having at least 12 weeks in the top 40 but now this week itll peak in the lower top 10 and fall out of the top 40 within 6 weeks...which is better?
Whos that artist at no34??

An early 90s US girl group. The four remaining X Factor finalists performed Hold On at the start of the results show earlier, it was a #5 hit here in 1990.

With on air, on sale, Lloyd might've had a chart run such as: 65-55-42-40-35-24-13-9-8-9-15-27-33-45-etc.

And being held back, it might have a chart run such as: 5-7-9-15-35-56-OUT

Yeah thats what i meant, id rather a rise up the chart!

This week's singles chart will be alot closer than last week. I reckon X factor will take it possibly quite comfortably but Olly and Flo Rida should put up a good fight.

For entertainment purposes, it makes the charts boring (since you have the same songs in the chart for months and months), but if you want success for the song, it's better since it'll sell more (which I think it more important than having a good peak).

Indeed i think WUAS will get a second week simply because of the physical being brought by xmas shoppers!

i think its rise up the chart is really exciting and once it starts falling is when it gets boring, but if its not that popular a song it wont hang around that long!

I'm still pretty certain that wherever Dedication To My Ex (Miss That) reaches this week will not be its peak. I reckon it will still be going strong in the top 10 in 2012.

Olly should have brought out physical copies of DWMT, a bit silly really gve how wide the retro appeal of the song is.

i think its rise up the chart is really exciting and once it starts falling is when it gets boring, but if its not that popular a song it wont hang around that long!

The only thing that interests me with a rise up the chart is simply wondering when it'll stop and start falling. And the whole routine happens so slowly that it's just not that interesting to me. Like I'm not finding following the progress of Fight For You particularly interesting, for example.

Although, I have to say, it can be quite amazing to watch songs come out of nothing and become ginourmous smashes (e.g. Airplanes, Give Me Everything, Meet Me Halfway, Ridin' Solo, Super Bass, etc.), but that's a very rare thing to happen anyway.

An in the other countries where they do on air, on sale, the small hits, which might chart low top 20 here, simply just don't go anywhere near the top of the chart. They have chart runs of 95-86-87-92-97-OUT instead of 20-55-OUT, so it's not that they don't hang around for long, it's that they never get anywhere in the first place.

I do like my favourite songs to be released on air, on sale though, because I wouldn't mind hearing them in the chart show every week for 4 months if they do become big hits, and I want them to sell as much as possible.

I'm furious that it wasn't!

Did we really need to hear End of Time & 1+1 over a single?

To be fair, when it was recorded, they probably hadn't a clue what the single would be at this point.
Yeah was just about to say what the poster above me said. :) Its great its climbed anyway, and i think the focus is on 4 getting it back in the top 40 and sell well over xmas, amazing plan to put this on at this time, especially with 4 not being top 40 with such big sales right now, i hope it'll shoot back top 10.

Great to see Jessie in the top 5! Misha B really has done Jessie favours. :P

Also hope 'Love On Top' makes the top 10 this week. I hope it doesn't stall at #11.
