Why does every Christmas song EXCEPT Fairytale Of New York get a price cut?

its also never included in their 'essential' Christmas playlists whereas pretty much everything else is, what do Itunes have against them

great to see all the Christmas songs climbing though, we should get more than the usual two in the top 40 this year :D Paradise 59p too, that should keep them top 10 this week :D

That's completely ridiculous. As much as I hate AIWFCIY I wouldn't exclude it from an 'essential Christmas playlist'.

Quite insulted that T-Pain is set to debut inside the top 10 with '5 o' Clock' when Lily Allen's far superior 'Who'd Have Known' only managed one week in the top 40 - and that was at #40; and even then only have a performance on live television.

I remember Lily Allen performing a mash-up of with with Take That. It was AMAZING! :D

But it was a 4th or 5th single off a very successful album iirc. A bit like Rumour Has It at the moment. I don't think anybody was expecting it to do fantastically. The song was extremely well-known anyway, even if it *only* charted at #40.

Another very brief reappearance for the second version of 'Who You Are', a day in the top 70 then vanishing. Odd. Massive drop for the album version of 'Down For Whatever' also.

Kelly Clarkson's 'Mr. Know It All' has been stealthily plummeting down the chart.

:puke2: at T-Pain passing Lloyd. Why does he use autotune on EVERY song? :drama:
:puke2: at T-Pain passing Lloyd. Why does he use autotune on EVERY song? :drama:

But Lloyd is ahead when combined, makes it less painful, pardon the pun

Rihanna  #9

C'mon :whip: this shit back up higher this needs to cross a million!

:puke2: at T-Pain passing Lloyd. Why does he use autotune on EVERY song? :drama:

lol. He doesn't use autotune in every song! Although I doubt you've heard more than like 5 of his songs, so I'll let you off.

He's actually a good live singer (better than a lot of the artists in the chart who don't use autotune), a good rapper, he writes all his own lyrics, composes his own instrumentals, he plays the piano and he has his own record label. Very talented person. But most importantly, I like the song, so good to see it doing well. :D

Rihanna seems to be falling fast, but I'm sure she'll make a million, even if she dropped out of the top 10 this week.

X Factor Finalists falling really fast too. I REALLY hope Drake is back at #11 when it falls out of the top 10. I can't bear the thought of Kelly Rowland having a 3rd run in the top 10.

Fantastic news for Olly Murs to get a third number one with what can only be said with an awesome chart run of 2-2-1.

Combined iTunes.

01. Olly Murs - Dance With Me Tonight 100%

02. Lloyd - Dedication To My Ex 85.2%

03. Flo Rida - Good Feeling 82.6%

04. Jessie J - Who You Are 73.2%

05. Rihanna & Calvin Harris - We Found Love 70.7%

06. T-Pain Feat Wiz Khalfia & Lilly Allen 65.1%

07. Avicii - Levels 57.1%

I think I want Olly to go to #1 this week. I don't even particularly like the song, i just find it most bearable out of the contenders, and want a song to actually climb to the top rather than just debuting there.

My ideal scenario would be Ed Sheeran climbing to the top, but thats not gonna happen!

The only climbers we've to #1 this year have been:

What's My Name?

Someone Like You

Party Rock Anthem

The Lazy Song

Give Me Everything

We Found Love

Coincidentally all their titles a 3 words long. Which would suggest Who You Are should be the song to climb to #1 this week, if any. :kink:

...and so through this logic, i maintain faith that Marry The Night will get there eventually! B-)

Well, it's off to a better start than Poker Face so far. In terms of top 100 runs, Marry the Night has gone 18-18-16 so far, whilst Poker Face started off 30-26-28.

Down For Whatever too! :P

No! Don't even SUGGEST that! *shudders*
