Itunes sales obviously play the biggest part but does anyone know how much of a part Amazon download sales play in overall singles sales? Trying to understand what sort of percentage share Itunes has of downloads as well.

I'm interested to know this too as the Official chart on a Sunday is often very different to the Itunes chart. As Physical sales are so low for singles the other major sites (Amazon,Play,HMV) must play a part but how much?

This isn't a Christmas song, surely? But I'm glad to see it's on iTunes at last. The last time I checked, there was only the German language version of it.

It was released at Christmas and is often featured on Christmas comps: http://www.chartstats.com/release.php?release=15766

Great song

Can someone please tell me if Pixie Lott - Kiss The Stars is in the iTunes top 1000? The music video has just been shot so will hopefully be released before Christmas so it benefits on the Christmas sales.

No, it's not in the top 1000 atm, which is kind of worrying if the music video has already been shot.

I guess we can now call her Pixie Flopt :w00t: AAT was average but so generic, and WDYTMF was awful :puke2:

Coldplay just sang Paradise :o instead of Charlie Brown on Graham Norton show.

Great performance. Hopefully the track climbs further now.

Now #2!

Might be wrong but for singles iTunes has about 80%? Around that I think.

Nowhere near that, nowadays - somewhere between 60-70%, I would guess.

What's with the Bee Gees invasion - did cancer finally claim Robin?

No, there was a Bee Gees special on ITV1 last night.

Disgusting. -_-

I'm not really sure how it works, but I have a channel called VIVA (or something like that), which played the whole top 40 every afternoon, and it's the official top 40. Or is that a proper MTV channel? But that channel will be playing MTN at least once a day.

That's annoying about Flo Rida. Especially since he's an outside #1 contender this week. Last time a song of his got deleted it was Right Round on US iTunes and it let Poker Face slip in a week at #1. Tragic. :puke:

Why on earth would it be deleted?

It's only been out a few weeks!

Disgusting. -_-

Why is that disgusting?

When someone dies, people always rush out and buy their records. If anything, it's *that* that is in bad taste.

Disgusting. -_-

Hey - I wasn't trying to make light of his condition, it was a genuine question! :(

Paradise #2 great news to wake up to :D I think its too late to get a #1 though, unless a late surge tonight.

Geez why's everyone disgusted about AIWFC entering the top 10 and hating on Mariah Carey?!

I am really devasted about Flo Rida though especially as he was a contender to beat Olly Murs to the top spot (unfortunately Olly murs is #1 as of Friday Midweeks and t-pain was at #7 due to his slow start) for some reason I just don't want Dance With Me Tonight to be No.1 just don't!!

Disgusting. -_-

To be fair these were my exact thoughts. Robin Gibb has liver cancer so it's understandable to link a sudden re-appearance of Bee Gees songs to his death.

Mariah up to #7 :(

Good Feeling is back at #86. Hopefully it should knock Jessie out of the top 10 very shortly.

Hardly 'everyone', it's just me :P And it's because it's a horrible song which does the opposite of getting me in the mood for Christmas.

You have no SOUL. :o

Thrilled to see Mariah as high as #7
