T-Pain #1 :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: If he can open up a big lead he could still get official #1. It's definitely a three-or-more-horse race now, with Olly, Lloyd and T-Pain being the major contenders and several others being outsiders.

Like I expected, T-Pain got to #1 before Flo Rida got back there - although it was obviously very close seeing as both T-Pain and Flo overtook Olly practically at the same time.

Lloyd's top version back up to #5, so it does indeed seem to have just been another blip that Coldplay were ahead for a while again. Coldplay are now over 70%, hopefully they're set for top 10 this week.

10. Wishing On a Star (feat. JLS & One Direction) - The X Factor Finalists 2011

11. Take Care (feat. Rihanna) - Drake

This is going to plan perfectly - we lose Kelly and XFF and gain T-Pain and Drake. Fantastic :D Really great to see Take Care holding up so well, I thought it'd plummet after losing its top 10 effect.

I can see there being as many as eight Christmas songs top 40 this week - Bieber, Mariah and The Pogues are certainties, Wizzard, Wham!, Slade and Shakin' Stevens are now all comfortably top 40 on iTunes and Band Aid have two versions around the #50 mark so they're comfortably top 40 combined as well :D Christmas Lights up to #61, should hopefully go top 100 again this week then :cheer: Would be their 11th top 100 hit this year :P

Ouch, Olly down to #3 in a matter of minutes.

He could still get #1 officially though.

Well of course he could, he's still ahead of both of them combined so that changes nothing! And that's just on the Itunes chart, he'll be a decent way ahead of both in sales. Flo Rida and T Pain overtaking Olly doesn't matter in regard to the future official number 1. The gap between Olly and X Factor which is about 50% atm and still increasing bit by bit is the one to watch. Maybe just as important, Lloyd isn't far off Olly combined and was 3rd in the chart last count, he will need more movement though. Only those 3; Olly, X Factor, Lloyd, have a shot IMO.

There's going to be loads of xmas songs top 40 on christmas week then with 7 days build up of sales...this could be the last year in a while though as for the next few years xmas day will fall midweek! :(

Oh T-Pain. T-Pain of it all :arrr:
I want Jessie J to climb to #1 next!
Oh T-Pain. T-Pain of it all :arrr:

Don't forget Wiz Khalifa and Lily Allen :D

Gonna do another Xmas top 300 update in a bit.

Not Xmas related at all but:

81. We Are Young (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

88. Survivor / I Will Survive (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

Neither look likely to go official top 100 but they could take advantage of the low sales possibly? (I obviously hope they don't :P)

92. 212 (feat. Lazy J) - Azealia Banks

:cheer: There must be quite a bit of hype around her.

A video for Set Fire To The Rain!!!

!

Maybe it can finally go top 10 now?

P.S. It's not the actual video, it's a fan made one! Pretty good though!

T-Pain and Lloyd pretty neck-and-neck now then - but now T-Pain is #1 he should open up a decent lead.

We could have T-Pain, Lil Wayne and Flo Rida all top 5 this week - what is this, the USA c.2008? :kink:

Urban overload approaching Christmas very surprising, the current Top 5 is awful apart from the Misha version of Who You Are. Sway seems to be dropping already and Wham, Slade, Wizzard and Mariah could all be heading Top 20.
I would love for Mariah to go top 10 officially again - it's been too long since she's had a top 10, and 'All I Want for Christmas' is my favourite Xmas song

So good that you got its title wrong? :kink:

No, I shortened it :)

If you're going to take the time to type the full name of the song instead of just saying 'AIWFCIY' you might as well add on the last 2 words. It's only 7 extra characters (i.e. 2 less than just the word 'Christmas' alone) :D

Well, it was like that in 2008 mainly just because Low spent like the entire year in the top 5 and Lil Wayne released a new song (or was put on a remix) every week.

It's strange seeing those artists, and ones like Wiz Khalifa and Andre 3000 so high up the chart though. I wish it was like that every week. They all have hundreds of great songs.

I swear i've never heard that Lloyd song or T-Pain anywhere! And I watch the music channels ALOT. I hate when this happens, I like to KNOW songs before they randomly do well. And who is Sway?

Moves Like Jagger #24. :o

I've heard T-Pain's song EVERYWHERE. I don't watch MTV, but it's been all over urban and top 40 radio the past couple of months. And outside of radio, the song's extremely popular. Everybody seems to love it.

Lloyd's I have heard a bit, but not that much. So I think it'll have more longevity in the chart.

I'm surprised Sway is doing so well. A good song, but I didn't think it was promoted very well. I think the fact that it has the Kano remix is helping it a lot. Kano himself has had quite a surge in popularity recently since played one of the lead roles in Top Boy (a drama series that was Channel 4 a little while ago).
