I'd really like Can You Save Me to qualify for Rejects to make it 4/4 for me. May as well have made every Reject/TBO in addition to every contest/Spin-off :kink:

Well I suppose that with new entrants every month, they could pick new highlights that only finished say 7th, and then that 7th placer could beat (for example) that month's winner. Maybe I should look logically before being pessimistic :P

Winners aren't guaranteed to do well, the bottom 5 usually has at least 2 winners.

This seems like a lot of WORK for little reward. (Yes, that's my way of saying I don't care for it because I won't have an entry in TBO).

I hate to come across all moany but I pretty much agree. I assume this one isn't essential to partake in and we won't be penalised if we just opt to return in January instead?

 

(And, YES, this view is also probably based upon the extreme unlikeliness that I'll actually have an entry in there to care about)

I may actually play along (I kinda immediately changed my mind mid-post once I'd realised about Lana being likely to feature!!!) - I don't fancy the task of listening to all the songs from the first half of the year when I didn't participate though so my votes will certainly be biased towards the songs I've already heard.

You only have to nominate the contests you were in. Then its only a couple of new songs in the semi's/final. You may discover something you quite like from an earlier contest.

All will be explained further when the nominations thread opens, and we iron out one or two minor details.

 

 

The top five nominated from each contest will be joined by 6 wildcards in two randomly ordered semi-finals of 28. From which 10 songs will qualify from each semi for the final and join the 10 winners for a 30 song final hosted in the Federal Republic.

In that case I will simply reply with GO AGNES OBEL (and Lana Del Rey :D ).

 

Should be interesting to see how this pans out. I wonder if there's the posibility of a track that never won any of the monthly contests shocking everybody by winning TBO. Has this happened in the past? :o

Yes, last year. Nonsuch won with The Flood and it certainly didn't win it's contest.
