Best Of never fascinated me...I don't recall voting in previous 'Best Of's' as well.

Not neccessarily...

My votes will be in maybe later, if not tomorrow. I have a few contests where I've been able to think of 2/3 to vote for so I need to add in a couple more :drama:

Haha! I guess looking back on it, it wasn't a good choice of entry. But I did really love it at the time! :blush: I'm not particularly confident either of my DNQ's will get through. Love how XXXVI has the best rejects too as well as the best final! :lol:

Where are the likes of Espen, Zechonia, Utopia and Flotovik (sp?) to ensure Amatorski 'Soldier' qualifies and comes last in The Rejects Final? :D

Traditionally it's hard to get people to care about the Best Of, let alone the Rejects sadly :(

But it's always so great to see how your entries do after some time and have a second chance. I have no idea why some people are so strongly against TBO. QUALITY, NOT QUANTITY!

Don't worry, I fully intend on voting! I've voted in TBO and I'm halfway through Rejects. I'm just busy packing for my day of traveling tomorrow. :drama:

The only other Best Of competition I was ever involved in was the first one and I remember everyone/nearly everyone being involved in that one. Shame that not all that many people vote in this because it is always interesting to see what song was the best of the whole 10 contests.

True, except it's fairly unrepresentative when only a third of normal participants take part - and often those with similar music tastes at that (the more indie songs always seem to do better for example). I love The Best Of but they do tend to throw up WTF results sometimes, like Get Far's The Radio finishing 2nd last year. Lovely song but it was lucky in that pretty much all of the people that voted for it in the original contest turned up exclusively and voted for it in the Best Of. It would be so great to get a turnout of 40 odd for TBO but half of the usual participants, often pop voters (hence why the generic fempop winners always fill up the bottom three :lol:), don't bother with it. Unless you've missed loads of contests, participating in it doesn't even take that much time or effort so I'm not sure why it's not more popular!
