RATE:

09.0 'Where Them Girls At?' (feat. Flo-Rida & Nicki Minaj)

04.5 'Little Bad Girl' (feat. Taio Cruz)

10.0 'Turn Me On' (feat. Nicki Minaj)

09.5 'Without You' (feat. Usher)

07.5 'Nothing Really Matters' (feat. Will.I.Am.)

08.0 'I Can Only Imagine' (feat. Chris Brown & Lil' Wayne)

06.5 'Crank It Up' (feat. Akon)

09.0 'I Just Wanna F' (feat. Timbaland & Dev)

08.0 'Night Of Your Life' (feat. Jennifer Hudson)

11.0 'Repeat' (feat. Jessie J)

10.0 'Titanium' (feat. Sia)

Up now we have the BRILLIANT album from producer of the moment, David Guetta. (Well not so much now Avicii is starting to get hits) This album is really, really solid and less "samey" than I feared it would be. The production on the highlights are so slick and fresh. Just can't get bored of them. 'Repeat' is still my favourite from the album, although next single 'Titanium' & the next US single 'Turn Me On' run it incredibly close! Although this will probably average a lot lower than both Olly & The Sats, it's a lot older and I definitely prefer the highlights from this album to the highlights (bar 'White Lies') on their respective albums. But even so, really hope he makes another album like this as 'One Love' got too repetitive and got boring way too quickly.

Up now at #7 in the albums, is the cracking debut solo album from Pussycat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger. Not a lot of artists can say they got all their singles choices right, but she most certainly can! This album has been about 3-4 years or so in the making! She had a couple of fans who were getting annoyed at how many times the solo album kept getting pushed back. But the wait was hella worth it! She's released a very polished, euro pop/dance album. It's very different to the urban vibe you'd expect from a PCD album and I think that's what makes this album so much better. Obviously on songs like 'Right There' and 'Desperate' you can hear a little bit of PCD in them. Not bothered with the re-release though. I thought it was a cheap and lazy cash-in. At least give us more!

Here we have the third studio album from Noah & The Whale. They had an entry last year with the beautiful 'First Days of Spring' album, but I definitely prefer this album overall. It's a lot happier and more radio friendly than 'The First Days of Spring'. I am yet to hear their debut, but I've heard it's not that good bar a couple of songs, so I've always been put off of it. But I guess now would be the time to listen to it as I definitely consider myself a fan of theirs now. This album has stood the test of time and plays for me and I hope they can continue on getting the success they deserve!

MISTY MILLER || 'REMEMBER'

MY PERSONAL CHART RUN: [17-14-10-6-6-6-12-17-25-32-36-X(15)-14-12] (13 Weeks - STILL CHARTING)

At number 10 in the EOY singles rundown, is Misty Miller with the utterly charming and beautiful 'Remember'. Who I had the fortune of finding, whilst routing through youtube and last.fm for a BJSC entry. It seemed to be the best choice too, as it gave me my first Top 3 finishing position and was generally the best reception I got from any of my entries at that time. It had a peak of number 6 (where it stayed there for 3 weeks) in my chart at the time of compiling my EOY countdown, but has since then re-peaked at a rather respectable #5. I genuinely can't get bored of it. It's so charming and puts a smile on my face whenever I hear it.

RIHANNA || 'CALIFORNIA KING BED'

Up next is the current Queen of pop/the charts, worldwide. Rihanna. I fell in love with 'California King Bed' ever since I first 'Loud' and I was really excited for it's official release, especially since the track I compared it to the most from her last album, 'Fire Bomb', never got a release. (WTF? right?) 'California King Bed' remains one of my ultimate Rihanna songs and only 'Farewell' and 'We Found Love' have really matched up to it for me, from her current era.

BRITNEY SPEARS (feat. KE$HA & NICKI MINAJ) || 'TILL THE WORLD ENDS'

MY PERSONAL CHART RUN: [1-7-12-4-1-1-3-5-10-17-24-31] (12 Weeks)

At number 8 is the last entry from Britney Spears. I will always love anything and everything Britney does and especially a single before I hear the album, will pretty much be guaranteed a number 1 in my chart, however this song took a while (despite going straight in at number 1) to properly grow on me (at least for a Britney single). It's now comfortably inside my Britney Spears top 10. This remix is incredible too and the best of the "add a rapper to a pop song, to help it sell" that we heard in 2011. (Including Britney's version of 'S&M'.)

MY PERSONAL CHART RUN: [1-1-4-6-5-9-5-5-10-11-15-15-22-27-30-32-32-35] (18 Weeks)

At number 7 is the final entry from Lady GaGa. 'The Edge of Glory' is one of those songs that as soon as you hear/listen to it, can only be described as an anthem! It's incredible and easily one of the best things she has ever recorded for me. (Along with 'Paparazzi' & 'Dance In the Dark' - she seems to have at least one, each era so far). As we all know by now though, the only thing that let down this single campaign, was the ridiculously rubbish video. It should and would have suited, the video that 'You & I' was given! :(

THE SATURDAYS || 'MY HEART TAKES OVER'

MY PERSONAL CHART RUN: [1-1-1-2-4-3-4-6-8-6] (10 Weeks - STILL CHARTING)

Just missing out on the top 5 this year, after getting the best song of 2010, is The Saturdays and their power ballad, anthemic 'My Heart Takes Over'. It was such a disastrous flop for them over here and I honestly do not get why. It's easily one of the best things they have (and probably ever likely will) record! It's radio friendly, the video fits the song perfectly, perfect winter release. They should have been given a chance to perform and promote on the few promotional shows we have. Their label suck, majorly. This should have been a big, top 10 hit for them :(

Kick starting the top 5 albums of 2011 for me, is the incredible debut album from man of the moment, Bruno Mars. This album is really, really impressive and I loved it from the first listen! It's just failing to get old. Admittedly his lyrics are cringeworthy, but somehow I can get over them with the fantastic production on each track. This guy is a true talent and I am so pissed off I didn't get to see him in November, when I had tickets!! (Too ill to go :snif: !) Ah well. There'll be next time.

Ppffft, no :smoke: I prefer Matt to all them, plus, he is the second hottest man ever :smoke:

I really dislike Bruno :( and I prefer the Glee version of Just The Way You Are.

I went off Doo-Wops & Hooligans so fast :( There are some brilliant tracks (Grenade, Just The Way You Are, Talking To The Moon) but some awful ones too (Lazy Song, Count On Me).
