PLEASE NOTE: Next week sales information will not be available as MW will be taking a Christmas break with a possibility of no midweeks available to us for the week. Normal services from MW will probably resume 3 January 2012, for now on behalf of the chart team I wish you all a Merry Xmas and a happy new year.

Just to clarify, does that mean that there will be no midweeks this week or next week?

As I don't think I can handle not having midweeks for this tense week with all the new entries! :cheer:

We easily succumb to guilt.

Its a sexist victorian idea of a wilting woman waiting for her man to come home. Where are the military husbands and military civil partners?

Would you not enjoy the chart more when it is announced when you dont have midweeks?

I really didn't like M Wives when I first heard it , but the more I listen I start to like it, not sure why! I may have to purchase it now ha
I'm really glad military wives will be xmas no1 and by such a margin. It also proves x factor is certainly in decline now.
Military Wives storm ahead in Xmas No.1 race, outselling Little Mix 6-1

Wherever You Are by The Military Wives (with Gareth Malone) already looks destined to claim 2011’s Christmas No.1 – and to become the UK's biggest-selling single for six years.

I'd be surprised if it ends up as that - most of these sales must have been physical, so it will be extremely front-loaded.

Also, it's a little way short of the 100-1 ratio Amazon were claiming...

"The Christmas No.1 should not be a forgone conlcusion and it's great this is capturing people's imaginations," he said.

Not mine - and probably very few of the usual singles-buying market, either...

Loud is back inside the Top40???

anyone has the position? THANKS!

also... if someone has the positions for Take Care (song) and You Da One (song) too i would appreciate it!!

Great for Rebecca's album !

Isn't "Nothing's real but love" top 40 ? It's been top 30 on Itunes since her performance on Graham Norton, I hoped she would sneak an other week in there...

Non mover from Sunday.

Huge sales for the number 1 single, it would be interesting to see what sales Little Mix currently stand at for this week so far. Take That climbing into the top 15 albums this week was something I did not expect but I greatly welcome, could I ask for their exact position please if anyone knows it?
Can you please give an update for Ed in the albums please........ta muchly!
