Top 5 albums all non-movers. Buble will probably cross 200K this week, with Amy/Coldplay/Olly/Rihanna almost certainly passing 100K again (:o!) and then I suspect the rest of the top ten will be on about 80k+ as well?

Would you not enjoy the chart more when it is announced when you dont have midweeks?

I like to know what the midweeks are for my chart, but I guess it would be a bit more exciting. However, I want to know that the Nirvana campaign is failing so would rather have the midweeks this week in particular

Loud right at the bottom of the top 40. Drake 10+9 and Rihanna 15+12

Non mover from Sunday.

Thanks ! She will probably end the week out of the top40 but it's still decent :)

Nirvana are top 5, once you take the b-side out "A Spotless Rose"
Buble about 300k+ and the rest of the top 10 will all probably do 100k+, so pleased for the Military wives. :cheer:
Huge sales for the number 1 single, it would be interesting to see what sales Little Mix currently stand at for this week so far. Take That climbing into the top 15 albums this week was something I did not expect but I greatly welcome, could I ask for their exact position please if anyone knows it?

The Take That live show was on BBC1 on Sunday which will have boosted sales.

I'd be surprised if it ends up as that - most of these sales must have been physical, so it will be extremely front-loaded.

Also, it's a little way short of the 100-1 ratio Amazon were claiming...

It is possible that they were close to 100-1 on physical sales.

Is it at #6? I thought it was between #6 and #10?

Lana Del Rey has pretty done what I was expecting climbing back up the charts she should be top 20 next week  :cheer: with the gift card effect and once all the crap falls down

On the whole I can see the campaigns from Lou Monte and Alex Day trailing off by the end of the week, I imagine Little Mix will comfortably hold onto #2.

I usually ignore the B-sides as they usually disappear the next day, so technically Nirvana is #5.

I suppose Military Wives will not be caught but good for them the song is bland but knew they would get the biggest first week sales of the year. A video will not help Little Mix much.

Really pleased for Rebecca, she will be Platinum this week. Olly is doing much better with this era and has avoided the Sophomore slump.

Leona's Hurt only 1 week Top 40, was not expecting that, it should have had a video.

So, unless Alex Day falls MASSIVELY during the week we are destined for the top-3 as it is (with two versions of Military Wives combined obviously).

I wonder where 'Dominick the Donkey' will eventually end up.

Ouch at Leona. Is this the only top ten hit to only spend 1 week in the top 40 (I know there's Wet Wet Wet 'Weightless' that crashed 10-75-OUT) but are there any other obvious ones I forgot about?

I don't want those Wives anywhere near the YE top 10

They can have their Xmas #1 - just fall short of 750k after two weeks si vous plait.

Is this week the last week which sales go for 2011? If yes I can't imagine Military Wives selling more than 750k in a week. I think it will be 500-600k in the end.
I'm glad MW are gonna get it. It is easily the most Christmas like song released this year.

Sales from 25 to 31 are yet to be included, in theory another week.

Not mine - and probably very few of the usual singles-buying market, either...

I think it has caught peoples imagination, no one on here thoiught it would have a chance and we are all avid chart watchers and are passionate about it but it shows you how much we know.im glad its going to no1 as i think although xfactor will always be there it might show the other artists they could have a chance if they actually release anything for xmas weeks chart!!

I also think sales will continue throughout the week as the first sales fig will be preorders too whereas people will wait until later in the week to buy the cd in the shops!
