Lol really? How silly they are.

Yep

I think it's because their management/label tweeting asking everyone to pre-order the single version last week and not to buy the album one just yet, so now their going mad tweeting "omg don't buy the single version. it doesn't count"

Happy New Year to you all

Currently have 12 year old JLS fans making me feel stupid on twitter, telling me that only the single version counts towards their chart position. Great start to the year

It was like before Christmas when Little Mix fans were tweeting that they were Christmas number one before Christmas Day because 'it said so on TV' AKA, they were showing the previous week's chart

I didn't even know Alesha Dixon had a new single out :o? I loved all her previous material aswell, so I shall go and listen.

 21. Do You Feel What I Feel? - JLS

 58. Do You Feel What I Feel? - JLS

Ooh, maybe it could actually go top 10 if it keeps climbing like this :D

 74. Home Again - Michael Kiwanuka

Not climbing fast enough :(

 110. Troublemaker - Taio Cruz

 121. Somebody That I Used to Know (feat. Kimbra) - Gotye

No sign of The Maccabees top 300 :( Ah well, hopefully their album should do okay - I have some hope it could get them their first top 10 album.

(When are the Santa hats on the smileys going away?)

Bloody JLS are not going top 10 while Gotye fails :(

Gotye is not going to peak this week. Let JLS have their moment :kink:

I guess, JLS have had enough moments already in their career though

I had no idea Alesha Dixon had a song released this week, along with Taio Cruz I have not heard the song once.
The Alesha Dixon song only premiered yesterday AFAIK, it's not actually a proper single either, just something for an ad campaign.

92. If You Wanna - The Vaccines

Hootenanny having some effect then :D Would love to see this back in the official top 100 and it should give their album a big boost as well (up to #5 on the iTunes albums feed, obviously not the greatest indication but it could go top 10 again) :D

Good to see it back :D strange that this (and Nørgaard to an extent as well) has been in reality a bigger hit than "Post-Break Up Sex" despite a lower peak and possibly lower sales as well.

I doubt If You Wanna has lower sales than Post Break-Up Sex. Comparing their top 100 runs:

Post Break-Up Sex

32-53-66-x

If You Wanna

69-53-65-68-78-97-x

I think If You Wanna stuck around in the top 200 for quite some time after that as well while PB-US faded away very quickly. (Nørgaard on the other hand probably has sold less than PB-US but given it's a post-album single that's to be expected, it matched 3 weeks top 100 which was pretty impressive).

I think EVERYONE agrees that Taio is totally pointless  Everyone on this forum anyway. And it's proven he has virtually no fanbase when his albums sell practically nothing despite having big singles. People just happen to like the occasional single by him.

Noo :( I loved Taio back at the time, 'Departure' was a bloody great album, and actually I like 'Rockstarr' quite a bit too. Shame that he turned into a generic D-list male star, he was unique. 'Come on Girl' is AHHHH! But for now he's quite pointless, yeah.

20. Jls - Do You Feel What I Feel

55. Jls - Do You Feel What I Feel

102. Taio Cruz - Troublemaker

140. Alesha Dixon - Do It Our Way

392. Pixie Lott - Kiss The Stars

I agree, Come On Girl is great and sounded so fresh at the time, it's hard to believe that it's four years old now :o He ushered the 'electro club banger' sound in and I'm hoping that he ushers it back out, each of his releases gets more and more generic and watered down. Troublemaker indeed defines useless, at least Hangover is more catchy.

This is the new Alesha Dixon single, I'm listening to it for the first time now:

The verses remind me of 'Price Tag' actually. The song is rather average.

That's a fantastically awful screen grab  Reminds me more of Little Jackie's The World Should Revolve Around Me.
