It's a pity. I wonder how long the advert Fun are being used on will run for. I'd love if it stopped soon and the song just dropped like a stone! But it won't happen. :( I think Glad You Came is going to be a longrunning #2 before Gotye and (maybe?) 1D overtake. I find it hard to imagine Katy Perry challenging for the top spot which is not something I imagined I'd be saying a few weeks ago!

I'm interested to see how the weekend effect (I feel like 90% of my posts are about that these days) affects these. Last week Calvin fell a bit, Ellie fell a lot as usual (I wouldn't expect that to change) and One Direction rose. I'd expect Calvin's club play to be increasing so I'm interested to see when the weekend will stop affecting him and I'm wondering if 1D will rise again. I just looked at the club play charts and it's (mildly) interesting to note that Example is at #24 with Changed The Way You Kiss Me. While I'm aware that the club charts mean nothing over there (even Hands by The Ting Tings smashed on that chart I believe!), it might be a sign of him getting a US push?

Apart from the week Katy was already #1 ofc :kink:

 

Calvin's progress is unstoppable, I can see it going top 5 at least at this rate. Really can't believe he's managed to pull this off even after We Found Love.

Calvin's second version has fallen a small bit but he's holding up really well as I expected. 1D rose, again in line with my expectations. Ellie's main version has actually risen 5 places which is the exact opposite of what I thought should happen! Both of the other versions have fallen fairly heavily though and I'd expect the main version to be back in the 80s again by the end of the weekend.

 

Can't believe 1D are heading back for the top 10 again so soon!

Really glad with Ellie's Progress. Its so bloody slow but its good that she keeps getting higher. My american friend said she is on the radio every day which is great!
