133. Ellie Goulding- Lights  COME ON ELLIE!

She must be getting airplay and people liking it. So excited to see if she's improved her BB100 position from last week!

She seemed to be dropping a lot on iTunes over the last few days but I might have just been seeing a weekend effect or something. I don't know. #133 us great anyway. Bassnectar at #226 too and that's important.

:kink:

The guilty pleasure of the year, though. Calling it now.

Wow. That is amazing.

I wouldn't say it's a "guilty" pleasure at all though. There's nothing to be guilty about. That song is legit.

Wow @ The Wanted. :o I know it'll probably plummet soon and they've no airplay anyway, but still. That's very impressive after only one TV performance.

It's only a guilty pleasure in that a. I really dislike Tyga and b. the lyrics are laughably awful, but yes, it's amazing.

The Wanted!! Glad that their best song is seeing some success. I did hear it in Hollister the other day at an interview, so it's not entirely unknown I guess.

Wish Lana del Rey were a bit higher, though. :nocheer: I was waiting so long for Born to Die and Off to the Races to be released...

In places it was quite clear they weren't miming (ie. pretty bad vocals) but thankfully it doesn't seem to have mattered (not climbed for a few hours though).

 4. Rack City - Tyga :o

New Digital Songs top 10:

1 [*] Jason Mraz - I Won't Give Up 229k (NEW)

2 [1] LMFAO - Sexy And I Know It 212k (down 49%)

3 [6] Adele - Set Fire To The Rain 203k (down 24%) [quite a big decrease but that was expected - still over 200k :D]

4 [2] Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris - We Found Love 185k (down 42%)

5 [7] Flo Rida - Good Feeling 168k (down 35%)

6 [4] LMFAO feat. Lauren Bennett and GoonRock - Party Rock Anthem 164k (down 45%)

7 [8] Jay-Z and Kanye West - Niggas In Paris 163k (down 33%)

8 [10] Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa feat. Bruno Mars - Young, Wild & Free 160k (down 24%)

9 [3] Katy Perry - The One That Got Away 154k (down 50%) [halving in sales - ouch]

10 [5] Bruno Mars - It Will Rain 154k (down 45%)

Big decreases of course because the gift card effect has died off this week. Adele has done very, very well to stay above 200k. Someone Like You is the only top 10 casualty but that was again to be expected as it's not been top 10 on iTunes for a while.

Boo at Jason. SFTTR is now above 90% again on iTunes so should hopefully finally get the iTunes #1 soon (although Jason is still increasing periodically so maybe he will stay ahead a while longer). Hopefully she can at least overtake LMFAO on next week's Digital Songs chart anyway.

H100 report hasn't been posted yet but a separate article has been posted that says Jason is a new entry at #8. Blegh.

It'll be Rihanna back at #1 on the H100 unless I've got something really wrong, there's only a 27k gap and Rihanna has something like a 50 million+ airplay advantage over LMFAO. Hopefully SFTTR is in the top 5.

Hopefully Adele will be #1 on the Digital chart next week. I think Rihanna could even get a 10th week at #1 in the Hot 100 though, matching Ke$ha's record for the decade so far.

Ke$ha's record was 9 so Rihanna has already matched it :P

Och @ 'The One That Got Away'. :( I know it wasn't going to be #1 but at *least* #2 officially would have been nice.

Tyga up to #3!! :cheer:

It would be funny if he got to #1 before Adele did. Just to see the uproar from her fans. I doubt it will though, as I imagine it'll stall and start falling any time now tbh. Not that I mind, since Adele's song is great.

Adele as usual hitting #1 on iTunes before airplay reaches the top 10.... hopefully in the next 2 weeks she gets to #1?
