I'm pleased out of his newer material it's 'Feel So Close' that is giving Calvin the solo breakthrough hit he deserves. I wasn't that big on the song upon it's original release here, but I have grown to actually really appreciate it and hope it keeps gathering momentum and eventually goes top 10 for him.
Had you told me a year ago when I first discovered them that fun. would be number one the day before my birthday, I'd have called you crazy.

 22. Feel So Close (Radio Edit) - Calvin Harris

 127. Feel So Close (Extended Mix) - Calvin Harris

I wonder if there's a chance this could join fun./The Wanted/Gotye in a battle for chart supremacy in the near future? It just keeps on climbing.

Kworb Top 5

So The Wanted are really way way way behind fun. then?! :(

Also Flux Pavillion now at #53!!

Calvin: #21, #127, #491 - He's really $ma$hing now isn't he?

Ellie: #82 (new peak?), #248, #938 - Nice

1D: #15 (same spot as yesters I think?)

Ellie at 81 now! WHY does she keep yo-yoing on us like this?! I keep thinking 'Oh the song is finished now' then it jumps 20 places in 24 hours.

Yes, but they do have better airplay for now. Fun. are increasing much faster however so they wont be ahead for long.

Ellie just about re-peaked again (at #78) on the BBH100 today. I think this could reach the 20-week (?) longevity cap for non-top-50 hits at this rate.

If it goes 20 weeks without ever going top 50 does it still get knocked off? I thought it was just for songs that had actually been top 50 at some point for some reason. It would be allowed to go top 50 though with the new rules wouldn't it? Not getting ahead of myself here but it would be strange if it (somehow) started smashing and wasn't allowed to chart

I'm pretty sure Just Dance took 5 months before finally getting to #1 on the BBHOT 100, so im sure this will have plenty of time to chart if it continues to climb.

Is it not a 50 week rule?

I'm pretty sure the 20-week rule applies to all songs between 51 and 100, regardless of whether they've been top 50 or not.

Interesting to note she's #67 on Digital Songs this week, miles higher than the main version of Lights has ever gotten on the iTunes chart. The other versions really do help a lot more than you'd expect and this proves that she's punching above her weight (as in, doing far better on sales than she is on airplay) which is both good and bad. Good because it obviously shows people like the track but bad because I'd expect 6.5 million impressions to be higher than... #85+ on airplay? I hope her airplay isn't dying.

Is she only #85 on airplay? Its not bad I suppose. I don't think she's losing airplay as she's still gaining points though.

No, that's just my rough guesstimate at where she from the Digital Songs/Hot 100 differences. She could really be anywhere from like 80-100!

I think The Wanted will not chart higher than #03 on the billboard, but what a fantastic achivement!

02. The Wanted - Glad You Came 58.2%

03. Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know 52.7%

04. Flo Rida & Sia - Wild Ones 49.6% :cheer: This is picking up Fast Now!
