Great to see SFTTR still #1, but can it make it on Hot 100, really hope so, where is the video? That would really help.

Wow for Kelly Clarkson, amazing! and great for Jessie J! :D

I REALLY hope Katy can get #1 this time. Like actually. I love the acoustic version!
Part III?
Part III?

Yes. By Skylar Grey. It's kinda awkward, because I've joked about so many other songs being LTWYL Part IIIs, but now a real one actually exists. :drama:

It's really impressive that it's gone top 100. I'm pretty sure if Part II could've been cherry-picked, it would've gone straight to #1, since, firstly, Rihanna is more famous than Sylar, secondly, there was so much hype around the song when Loud was released, now everybody has forgotten about it (so it's still very impressive that it's in the top 100), thirdly, Eminem raps on Part II, so all his fans would've bought it too, whilst he's not on Skylar's version, and finally, Rihanna had two versions of Part II on her album, the normal version, and then a piano version (which was literally ONLY Rihanna and a piano, like Someone Like You basically), and both of those would've been combined.

You say it like Skylar's gone and done a cover of it, :heehee: but people should know/be aware that Skylar wrote the hook and melody to 'Love the Way You Lie' and this "Part III" is the original demo that she released. It's on her "Buried Sessions" EP which was released yesterday. (It includes 'Coming Home (Part II)' and 'Words' (which is her solo version/demo of Lupe Fiasco's 'Words I Never Said' - which should have been a hell of a lot bigger than it was :nocheer:)

That would have been extraordinary given that when the album came out I don't think "Only Girl" had made #1 over there, so the first single from the album would have not only gotten to #1 after the second single but a random album track as well. First single, third #1. Weird.

122. Ellie Goulding- Lights

Expecting this to go top 100 tonight after letterman!

116 + 194 now. I wish there was a way to see where it was combined but it is surely top 100. And that's with 6 Glee songs ahead of it -_- and another ahead of Bassnectar. Bassnectar is such a cool name. I love it so.

Outside of CrazedEllieFanland there's not too much going on that's exciting. I am very happy to see A Thousand Years clinging on though. It's not touched Jar of Hearts anywhere obviously but it's basically been a mini Jar of Hearts in the US. It just keeps hanging around, selling really well for a song with its peak. And wow Jason Mraz has fell really fast after the really long stay at #1!

I hardly think it's that crazy to expect a high peak for the song given how huge the Part 1 had been. It mightn't have reached #1 on iTunes (I don't believe Eric was predicting #1 on the Hot 100) but it could so easily have gotten top 10 IMO.

Glee Cast - Without You up to #3! :o Wow!!!!

Yeah, I was thinking Part II could've got to #1 in the Hot 100. Part I debuted at #2 when it was released, and that was basically unknown then. I guess we'll never know though.

116! Lights could actually turn into a full on hit :o

Here's hoping! The Wanted are back in the top 100 after dropping out yesterday too. With their airplay rising so fast I'm thinking Glad You Came could be big too. This Brit Invasion is coming along nicely!

Wow, Glad You Came is actually holding up quite well - maybe it will be a hit!

New Digital Songs top 10:

1 [3] Adele - Set Fire To The Rain 193k (down 5%) [:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Third digital #1!]

2 [5] Flo Rida - Good Feeling 163k (down 3%)

3 [13] Tyga - Rack City 160k (up 41%)

4 [2] LMFAO - Sexy And I Know It 1565k (down 26%)

5 [8] Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa feat. Bruno Mars - Young, Wild & Free 151k (down 6%)

6 [4] Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris - We Found Love 140k (down 24%)

7 [21] David Guetta feat. Nicki Minaj - Turn Me On 137k (up 43%)

8 [7] Jay-Z and Kanye West - Niggas In Paris 130k (down 20%)

9 [1] Jason Mraz - I Won't Give Up 127k (down 44%) [biggest drop from #1 since Dr. Dre :o]

10 [10] Bruno Mars - It Will Rain 120k (down 22%)

The sales gaps between Adele/Rihanna and Adele/Flo Rida (and therefore by default also Rihanna/Flo Rida are almost identical[ly opposite] to the airplay gaps posted on BuzzJack, so it's going to be an insanely tight top 3. I think Rihanna will hold #1 again just, so Adele will be fighting for the #2 with Flo Rida (but I think she should get to #1 next week as her airplay is rapidly closing the gap to Rihanna now).

Glee Cast version of Without You at #1 now. Boo.

Looks like Adele will be 3. Is it 1 point for every million impacts and 1 point for every thousand sales?

Adele actually came in at #2 with RiRi at #1 and Flo at #3. And yes that is the formula. But streaming comes in somewhere too.

Edited by Umi

I think the streaming component is so small that it doesn't really make a difference. But it would hurt Adele slightly, since she doesn't have a music video for SFTTR yet. But I think it's bound to be #1 next week.
