September 26, 201014 yr I've no idea why Liverpool fans kick up such a stink about it, they should be thankful because it took all the attention away from how god awfully p***-poor they were in that match. From what I remember Rafa on MOTD said that Liverpool were poor and he wouldn't use the beach ball incident as an excuse. If it happened to a certain other manager ... make that managers they would have thrown around words such as 'travesty' and 'absolute joke'.

Spot where I mentioned Rafa.
September 27, 201014 yr I miss Rafa so much. He was so good, just a shame everyone bar Liverpool fans had a huge problem with him.
September 29, 201014 yr I miss Rafa so much. He was so good, just a shame everyone bar Liverpool fans had a huge problem with him. He left just at the right time in my opinion. Torres is likely to leave come January.
September 29, 201014 yr Carlisle managed to bounce back from their defeat at Bournemouth with an impressive win at Hartlepool. :cheer:
September 29, 201014 yr I liked Rafa, from the UEFA Cup to the CL title. THings all started going balls up when a certain duo moved in with the stars and stripes -_- Got off the sinking ship at the right time, feel sorry for Hodgson though.
October 1, 201014 yr HODGSON OUT THE MAN HAS NO CLUE ABOUT FOOTBALL FULLY EXPECTING BLACKPOOL TO DOMINATE US AS THE MAN HAS NO IDEA
October 2, 201014 yr HODGSON OUT THE MAN HAS NO CLUE ABOUT FOOTBALL FULLY EXPECTING BLACKPOOL TO DOMINATE US AS THE MAN HAS NO IDEA 17 Everton 7 -1 6 18 Liverpool 6 -3 6 19 Wolves 7 -5 5 20 West Ham 7 -9 5 :D
October 2, 201014 yr After Leeds 4-6 Preston in midweek, two more bonkers results today Accrington Stanley 7-4 Gillingham Chesterfield 5-5 Crewe
October 2, 201014 yr Crewe  Bit gutted as they were 4-1 up at one point though LOL. ARGH. Another away draw for United, NOT GOOD ENOUGH, NOT A HAPPY BUNNY.
October 3, 201014 yr Author Man United were atrocious, especially in the first half. Easily the worst i've ever seen them play, they looked a shadow of the team that hammered us 4-0 at the SoL a few seasons ago (And it could have been more). From a Sunderland point of view, we were brilliant and good value for our point. The first half was the best i've seen us play in a long time. That's now 3 points from Arsenal (H), Liverpool (A) and United (H), 3 more than people would have expected us to get and 3 very good performances.
October 3, 201014 yr I had Sunderland to win today, at 4/1 I think that was an astounding price. They always seem to do well against the bigger teams, I don't think that points against Arsenal, Liverpool and United are that surprising. Premier League is wide open this year.
October 3, 201014 yr Author TBH from what i've seen of the big teams the title is Chelsea's to lose. And also, it's fantastic that we've managed 7 points from City (H), Wigan (A), Arsenal (H), Liverpool (A) and Man Utd (H) but getting anything against the bigger teams is a bonus. The real test will be our next 4; Blackburn (A), Villa (H), Newcastle (A), Stoke (H).
October 4, 201014 yr I had Sunderland to win today, at 4/1 I think that was an astounding price. They always seem to do well against the bigger teams, I don't think that points against Arsenal, Liverpool and United are that surprising. Premier League is wide open this year. With regards to everything but the Championship it is. Chelsea will walk the league, and will most likely have it sewn up with 5/6 games to spare...
October 4, 201014 yr Gillingham certainly seem to be entertaining on the road. They lost by 5-4 against Bury away as well. Now if they can only find a win... Carlisle lost their first league home game of the season and are in action against Port Vale in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tomorrow night. Should be an interesting contrast as Carlisle are near the top of League One and Port Vale are top of League 2. Edited October 4, 201014 yr by Flatcap
October 4, 201014 yr Gordon Strachan OUT! He's ripped the heart out of the Boro squad in 12 months, replaced it with a sub standard Scottish team, and taken the club even further backwards than Southgate did. Southgate was settling into the Championship well when he was sacked for falling attendances. I mean wtf, they're way lower now!
October 5, 201014 yr  see. Hate Hodgson, such a poor manager. I guess there's a reason why he's only succeded with small clubs...
October 5, 201014 yr Sorry Josh but here's something that'll make you MORE depressed: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11669_6430498,00.html

Even if they win the court case (which I dont think they will...) RBS will take control of the club and presumably sell it to the Red Sox owners, and there is a highly unlikely possibility that Liverpool will be docked points if they go into administration.
