I think that if Flo is not number one next week it will be because of him falling rather than anything gaining. Jessie J seems to have found her level at number 2. I don't see any obvious number one on the horizon. Maybe Florence in 2 weeks if her Jonathan Ross performance goes very, very well. If Lana can get to 16 on that mediocre set Flo could nab a low sales week.

Maybe no-one really knows or cares who Nicola Roberts is? Girls Aloud last had a top ten hit three years ago and even then only Cheryl had much of a profile outside the group.

Shame, because "Beat of My Drum" at least was a decent record.

Weldone to Beyonce for having the baby, so pleased for her. I am hoping the news may boost 'Love On Top' into the top 10?
I hope not :P LOT is so average, so beige. Happy for though, and Blue Ivy is a lovely name!

Next weeks sees the release of 'Antidote' by Swedish House Mafia Vs Knife Party. I'll be shocked if that isn't at least top 2 next week (my gut feeling is that it'll be #1 with a comfortable lead).

I haven't seen it about much personally but I have nothing against it.

I agree, Antidote will surely be number 1 next week. The week after will probably be either Lana Del Rey or something random like Jessie J again by default. Same for the week after, or maybe by then Gotye will have picked up enough?[/wishful thinking] Feb has a few obvious number 1s though, DJ Fresh, Alexandra Burke and perhaps Dappy.

DJ Fresh's follow up is great. Sound of the spring I think.

Isn't it Ivy Blue? :P

'Love On Top' is far from average. It's nice to see some throw-back retro Motown-esque song in the top 20. One of the many things I love about Beyonce is that she doesn't follow trends.

I hope Alexandra Burke gets #1, if only because she was so entertaining when she judged on X Factor.

I hope Jessie J gets #1 next week, then Swedish House Mafia the week after.

And I also hope Love On Top can get a boost into the top 10. I can't believe Beyonce and Jay-Z have had a baby. They must be so happy at the moment. :D

This 100%.

No, it is Blue Ivy apparently, one of her 'friends' said so I read. But idk, it could be either - the same name just swapped around a bit, so it probably got lost in translation.

I thought you would have loved LOT Liam :o

I thought it was a bit bland when I first heard it on the album, but since it has been made a single I have found all sorts of new love for it, its just so feel good and I love the way it builds up with the key changes at the end.

Am I the only one that doesn't think 'Elephant' is a definite #1? If it does get there it'll be on low sales and it'll just be another 'Start Without You' IMO (and that's not my anti-Alexandra bias talking, it's just that X Factor acts in general - bar Olly it seems - have been underperforming a LOT recently and I don't see why Alexandra would be an exception).

I hope we get a song holding on for at least 2 weeks at #1 soon, we've already going into our 7th #1 in 7 weeks, Jessie will likely be an eighth and Swedish House Mafia might be a ninth, then there's Lana Del Rey the week after...

Me too  I don't know why, I usually like retro-sounding tracks like this but I don't why I don't like LOT. The thing is, I don't think I can even hate it.

Jark said once, something along the lines of 'it's so beige, I can barely be bothered to dislike it'. That's pretty much how I feel, if that makes sense?

If Jessie J goes to #1 next week it be great, I'm pretty sure the track will return to #1 at some point when she gets nominated or a live performance at the BRITs. The Brits are televised on the 21st Feb, with the build up, prior to the actual event.

Probably like this

Jessie J

Florence/Swedish House Mafia

Lana Del Rey 2wks

Jessie J

The Vaccines' album is now #1 on iTunes' albums feed :o And 'If You Wanna' is back up to #68 - anyone know the reason for this?

Kasabian and Foster The People are also #3 and #4 on the albums feed. Random indie takeover (also related, I assume, to the boost back to the high 30s for Pumped Up Kicks) :P

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' album is also back at #7 and AKA... What A Life! is back up to #92. Are these events linked in any way?

I reckon Jessie will get to #1 next week with Swedish House Mafia going there the following week (really can't see Florence doing it). I actually never thought Lana would ever go to #1 but I wouldn't rule it out now considering there still isn't much out and I can't see SHM being there for long.

Could Will.I.Am get there with THE? Its now out on 6th February or may be I'm over predicting it considering it hasn't exactly done amazingly anywhere yet. DJ Fresh is a certain #1 in Feb IMO and as long as Alexandra's song is good, it's likely it could be #1.

Add in a mix of Gotye (which is at #65 after only a few plays on radio and no promo yet, I can't believe how quick its climbing everywhere now even the USA!) and Flo Rida's newie which I can see being big I think February should be at least abit more exciting than January.

I saw an advert on T.V last night saying they were all £3.95 or something on Itunes. So I presume that is why. :)

I'm seeing that advert a lot on Youtube too.
