I like 'heartbeats' due to the poignancy of Jessie's history, she has always had a heart problem and her heart doesn't beat normally which made her childhood hard, so her fans are her 'heartbeats' that keep her going.

All of the celebrity fan names are cringeworthy. The only ones I do like are Lady GaGa's Little Monsters (simply because it was GaGa who started this trend rather than followed it) and Amelia Lily's Lillies (simply because it doesn't sound cringeworthy or cheesy and instead just sounds quite witty).

Not forgetting Ke$ha and her misfits and Katy Perry and her cats. I think the Ke$ha one is the less cringey but it also probably has the least relevance to the UK!

 

I'm not a "heartbeat" but I hope Jessie J can get to #1 this week. Also glad Kelly is #40 on iTunes, I was worried her second single would be a complete flop but it's looking promising at the moment.

Little monsters is so annoying imo. It just sounds so pathetic and childish. I don't really mind any of the others. I think they're funny and quite original.

It's crazy how many people decide to buy songs only when they hear them either sung by talent show contestants or danced to by celebrities on reality shows.

 

The only songs I've bought due to talent shows are 'Make You Feel My Love' and 'There You'll Be'. Okay, that sort of makes me a hypocrite. :lol:
