Apologies to regulars for this, but it drives me nuts when people keep getting it wrong! 1. While I am happy to answer reasonable sales requests, please don't ask me for the same ones week in week out once they've left the top 100 (see T100’s on OCC website). Also, remember to state specifically what you want (artist + single/album), and whether YTD and/or total sales. 2. Try not to go OTT with numbers of requests – I’m only human. 3. I only track singles/albums that debut, or have charted significantly in the current year, with the proviso that they are also in my tracking range (roughly YTD T200). Also, I’m unlikely to have lifetime sales estimates for items that debuted before 2009. 4. Please check the thread before requesting sales estimates - they may already have been answered. If you can, also check the alternative forum, i.e. Buzzjack or Haven. 5. My full Top 40 update (with total sales, positions etc.) is normally on Thursdays when ChartsPlus arrives, so if you can hold off your requests until then, please do so. I reserve the right to grant/deny requests that do not conform to the above. Regards,
January 2, 201213 yr Another reason to thank God for Adele - without her, Michael Buble's Christmas album would be Year End #1 :\

January 2, 201213 yr If it is possible I'd like to know what is Cheryl Cole's 3 words(album) and fight for this love (single) total sales. Thanks in advance.
January 2, 201213 yr I'm really impressed at the amount of 1 million selling albums we've had/are going to have. In the last two years we've had - - 21 - 19 - Christmas - Doo-Wops and Hooligans - Loud - Progress - Crazy Love - The Defamation of Strickland Banks - The Fame - I Am Sasha Fierce - The E.N.D - JLS And then Mylo Xyloto and Teenage Dream are both on 900K (the former will easily cross it in a few weeks and i'm sure the latter is round about that figure) and then Born This Way/Who You Are/+ might possibly do it eventually (Gaga might hang around the top 100 for months, Jessie could get a Brits boost and + is still #1) and i'm sure The Element Of Freedom is on 900K (and could get a boost when Alicia releases her next album).
January 2, 201213 yr It's interesting that Rihanna's newest album did sell enough copies this year to overtake "loud", despite being released in the busiest period of the year. In my opinion, Loud is a far superior album anyway.
January 2, 201213 yr I'm trying to remember the last time a number 2 single sold a million in a calendar year. ? Edited January 2, 201213 yr by tonyttt31
January 2, 201213 yr It's interesting that Rihanna's newest album did sell enough copies this year to overtake "loud", despite being released in the busiest period of the year. In my opinion, Loud is a far superior album anyway. True, but it only had We Found Love basically to work with whereas Loud had 6 singles it was selling off! Guted about LMFAO not getting a million, thought the top 25 were set to sell over 30k and they would make it...they and Jessie will be million sellers in the next few weeks.....this year could see 4/5 million sellers though if things continue their upward curve in the market!!
January 2, 201213 yr Singles 1 - 1241400 - Adele - Someone Like You 2 - 1042000 - Maroon 5 / Christina Aguilera - Moves Like Jagger Two million sellers, and both absolutely huge. Glad Someone Like You is a great 200,000 ahead (and astonishgly #17 on iTunes) 3 - 992400 - LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem 4 - 981200 - Jessie J ft B.o.B. - Price Tag So Price Tag ended up being quite a fair bit behind PRA. Again, both huge hits. 5 - 905400 - Rihanna ft Calvin Harris - We Found Love Another million seller for Rihanna by February. One of her best by far. 9 - 798200 - Adele - Rolling In The Deep 10 - 784000 - Jennifer Lopez - On The Floor Ah RITD so close to 800,000+ Has done so so well, hopefully will hit 1 million in the future which i'm sure it'll do (#25 on iTunes!!) OTF should hit 800,000 in the long run too, glad it stayed top 10. 12 - 643000 - Rihanna - S&M S&M feels like so long ago and its the 12th biggest song of 2011 :o Great success for it. Albums 1 - 3772400 - Adele - 21 2 - 1292800 - Michael Buble - Christmas 3 - 1214000 - Bruno Mars - Doo-Wops & Hooligans 4 - 1207600 - Adele - 19 5 - 909600 - Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto 6 - 877400 - Rihanna - Loud 7 - 817200 - Lady Gaga - Born This Way 8 - 806800 - Jessie J - Who You Are 9 - 791600 - Ed Sheeran - + 10 - 655200 - Rihanna - Talk That Talk 11 - 635800 - Amy Winehouse - Lioness : Hidden Treasures Healthy sales really! So glad Coldplay got over 900,000 by end of year, and Jessie finally hit over 800,000. Loud has done so well considering was out in 2010 and sold loads in the few weeks it was out of 2010! Ed & Bruno have had really great starts with their debuts. Ofcourse Adele's success is out of this world. 18 - 452000 - Beyonce - 4 The £5 deal its being sold for at the moment is really helping sales! Was out of top 40 not a while ago now back to #12, keep it at £5 :heehee: Want it to hit half a million soon. Edited January 2, 201213 yr by Karma
