May 7, 20169 yr Updated :D Just as some extra stats, Taylor Swift has the most #1's coming from one album, with 5 singles from 1989 reaching #1. Ariana Grande and Calvin Harris ties for second place with 4 from My Everything and Motion respectively, and Katy, Gaga and Zeddlena (and Ellie as well I think with three Delirium singles) are in a tie for third with three singles from Prism, ARTPOP, Revival and True Colors respectively. Can Selena reach second place with single #4?

Whilst Cliff Richard has never had any #1s in the modern era, he has managed 3 so far in the 1960s era, so even Cliff Richard makes the list.. 2007 marks the start of the "Download" era in my chart and there have been very few since then. However these artists have had the most #1s since 2007: 6 Skinny Lister (one in 2012 then 5 within 13 months, December 2014 to December 2015). 4 Slow Club (in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2014) 3 Mika (2 in 2007, one in 2009) 3 Tich (all in 2013) 3.
