Terrible. Generic. Will only sell because of the artists name. Replace her vocals with any female who makes it past the audition stage of x-factor and it will sound exactly the same.

It doesn't even sound like her - auto-tuned to hell for no real reason when she has a great voice.
Oh while I am almost ranting - this is SUCH a sell out after greatness like Broken Heels and All Night Long. Le sigh.
Dreadful- froom the Pitbull school of songwriting- A MASSIVE HIT naturally.
I like Alex but I don't like this at all, why has she done this awful song? I really can't see it growing on me.
Have any of Alexandra's singles (except Hallelujah obviously) gone platinum? That's quite hard to do, would hardly be expected of the lead single from album 2 of an XF artist.

yeah bad boys sold 800k

I want to like this and I'm a sucker for auto-tune but even I have to admit there's way too much. It would have been best to have either the chorus or the verses heavily autotuned. Not both because it kind of leaves me with a headache. Saying that the chorus is fantastic and I can see the verses being growers. I can imagine it going top 5 because I think she still has a strong fanbase.
I agree that theres too much auto tune, even if it was the chorus only, it would work better. I think theres no doubt this will be number 1, its a great song. I do think not releasing it till March is a bit late though, February would have been better.
Oh come on, this is a masterpiece compared to 'Start Without You'. It's not mind blowing but it's alright, we should see nearer the time if it has a chance of #1 or not.

I think the auto-tune fits perfectly imo... its not like kesha auto-tune is it..

anyway it will ber her FIFTH number one. not her fourth :) x

The X Factor finalists song doesn't count.

And if he's going to be that pedantic it's actually her sixth as she was on 'Everybody Hurts' as well :P

Unless he was counting 'Overcome' in the total. Which would be a bit odd.

You can't mix different countries charts into that. So, she has had 3 UK #1s, and as we are talking about UK #1s (as was the original poster) then that is that.

I have a feeling she'll be scoring her 4th #1!

That didn't mention UK#1 ..

that says her 4th #1. but she already has 4 number ones.

This is the UK chart forum, and a thread about the UK chart. Therefore, in this whole forum context she has had 3 #1s.

Dang! i lost :( ok dude you win. she's had 3.

I never knew All Night Long got to #1 in Ireland though - good taste as that is my fave Alex song :P

Why is everyone raving about this? I think it's pretty shit myself.
