January 15, 201213 yr Militant loons did well then! On the contrary, the best man won! :cheer: :w00t:
January 15, 201213 yr On the contrary, the best man won! :cheer: :w00t: 10 successful years in the business and over 5 million albums sold says it all. More than the other 4 put together. Edited January 15, 201213 yr by truly talented
January 15, 201213 yr 10 successful years in the business and over 5 million albums sold says it all. More than the other 4 put together. And arguably less successful in 2011 than any of them!
January 15, 201213 yr Isn't it stupid that three of the four British males here failed to get a Best Male nomination at the Brits. Edited January 15, 201213 yr by StephenN18
January 15, 201213 yr Isn't it stupid that all three of the British males here failed to get a Best Male nomination at the Brits. Ed Sheeran? :P And it was a stupidly strong category, I could defend all five nominees' selection until the cows come home.
January 15, 201213 yr Ed Sheeran? :P And it was a stupidly strong category, I could defend all five nominees' selection until the cows come home. No sorry, I meant three of the four British acts; Will Young, Example and Olly Murs. Edited January 15, 201213 yr by StephenN18
January 15, 201213 yr No sorry, I meant three of the four British acts; Will Young, Example and Olly Murs. Ahh, okay.
January 15, 201213 yr And arguably less successful in 2011 than any of them! Also the artist with least AirPlay. I doubt any of the others will see a 10th anniversary. As for The Brits when have they ever been the oracle of what is talent. I could draw you up a long list of all those they've lauded and since disappeared. Anyway no need to stress it's all a bit of fun. Edited January 15, 201213 yr by truly talented
January 15, 201213 yr Olly Murs >>>>>>>>>>>> everyone else. I guess if loons had to control it Will Young's not the worst winner :P I hated him before but have to admit - spot on this era.
January 15, 201213 yr Militant loons did well then! Buzzjack members voting in a Buzzjack poll...whatever next?? Go Will :cheer: Edited January 15, 201213 yr by jacqui
January 15, 201213 yr Is it bad I can't remember who I voted for Will or Ed? :) Or did I vote at all? If not I meant to. Anyway why is a fan of one artist a loon and others not? We all have our obsessions.
January 16, 201213 yr The laughable thing here is that Olly Murs is number two..... a man who makes every single record he releases sound like a Shakin' Stevens b-side. Appalling. Will.... deserving winner.
January 16, 201213 yr I haven't heard Will's album but for Come On alone he shound win. Edited January 16, 201213 yr by tonyttt31
January 16, 201213 yr Pleased Will won and I didn't vote in this one, :D I voted in the record and album ones though, I'm such a criminal.
January 16, 201213 yr ...but he wouldn't have won had it not been for this, I'd imagine. BUSTED (would have won Best Group if they were still around).
January 16, 201213 yr Anyway why is a fan of one artist a loon and others not? We all have our obsessions. The 'loons' take it a bit further (ie Olly Murs fans wouldn't come out in force to vote en mass in this poll but the Will Young ones will). Not saying there's anything wrong with liking an artist so much (Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, The Saturdays, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood for myself) but that is undeniably why he won. Anyway, as I said above, at least the winner was deserving :P
