I predict Madonna's new song will perform more similarly to Judas than to Born This Way (in the first couple of weeks, and then after that depends on how much people like the song and how much promotion it gets).

So predict it will debut at #14, then climb into the top 10 the week after. Then maybe climb to #1 a month after that (or fall out of the chart promptly if the song sucks).

I agree, I think it may take slightly less time to climb back up though.

Has the 'Original Mix' of Alone Again that was charting been changed to an 'Extended Mix' or was it deleted or something? Because it's no longer top 100 while an 'Extended Mix' is.

There were 2 versions of the Original Mix. However one was renamed Extended Mix. Basically, Extended Mix = longer Jump Smokers version that's longer than the UK Radio Edit, and Original Mix = solo Alyssa version.

But is the Extended Mix in the chart now just the previous charting Original Mix renamed? :P

Sorry, there were 2 Original Mixes, but one (the one now known as Extended Mix) was renamed. :P

04. Gotye (feat. Kimbra) - Somebody That I Used To Know

05. Cover Drive - Twilight

06. Flo Rida (feat. Sia) - Wild Ones

^ Just a matter of time now before Flo Rida & Sia overtake Cover Drive too - a 01-06 drop will not look good.

Yep, that's the one that has been renamed (track 2 on the EP) :)

11. Ed Sheeran - Drunk - Could overtake Pixie Lott again. I don't mind, as I think Drunk is a better song, but Kiss the Stars being top 10 is amuisng me for some reason.

51. David Guetta ft. Nicki Minaj - Turn Me On - Maybe it'll re-enter the top 40 at some point. I thought the music video would've been better with more dancing in.

53. Kevin Lyttle - Turn Me On - I hope this can re-enter the top 100 this week. Such a classic. Shows how poor the charts are at the moment. :(

63. 50 Cent ft. Justin Timberlake & Timbaland - Ayo Technology - Another song that really shows up the current chart hits. I hope it re-enters the top 75 this week. :)

103. Coldplay - Charlie Brown - I heard the music video for this is getting released this week.

110. Tyga - Rack City - I would love this to break the top 100. It's been YEARS since a song like this has been in the UK chart.

119. Lil Wayne ft. Bruno Mars - Mirror - I think a music video has been/will be released, so maybe it'll re-enter the top 100. It's good for a Bruno Mars song imo.

292. Rihanna ft. Jay-Z - Talk That Talk - Hoping for this to become a top 20 hit in the coming months.

295. Jay-Z & Kanye West - Niggas in Paris - Glad to see this top 300. I have no hope of it getting top 100 officially, but it's such a unique song.

543. Chiddy Bang - Opposite of Adults

Really hoping Drunk goes top 10 this week :) (on iTunes)

I'm glad the Guetta video is different and doesnt have too much daning in tbh, really liking that song now :o Didnt like it at first.

Looking forward to Charlie Brown video from Coldplay :D

Hope Talk That Talk is a bigger hit then You Da One, its a lot better so i think it will.

I'm looking forward to the Charlie Brown video if this is true: http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2011/12/16..._n_1153043.html

I think that Talk That Talk will be a bigger hit than You Da One, as I agree it's a much, much better song. You Da One not doing very well (by Rihanna's standards), might lose momentum a bit, so I'm not sure it'll go top 10, but I hope it does.

'You Da One' has peaked definitely, they made a monumental fuck up even releasing that, let alone as the second single. They should forget it ever happened and move on pronto. 'Talk That Talk' is far far better (but 'Where Have You Been' is still the best )

I completely agree with everything you just said. You Da One Flopped big time. The song never grew on me even tho i wanted it to.

This is how i would have liked it to go

1st-We Found Love

2nd-Drunk On Love/Roc Me Out

3rd-Where have you been

4th-Talk That Talk

5th-Farewell

3. Where Have You Been (I would say second, but for variety TTT before it)

Then nothing else, because nothing else is even remotely good enough.

If Rihanna is releasing another album this November, I think she should only release 4 singles (the 4th being Where Have You Been), since I think it was a bit silly last year when Cheers and We Found Love were in the top 10 together (in the US). I think since I've been following the charts, that's the first time I've ever seen an artist have two songs in the top 10 together from different albums. :drama: I think Make You Feel My Love and Rolling in the Deep might've done so in the UK, but that was a bit different.

I'd like her to have a short break between albums, and spread out the songs a bit more, so if she's releasing another album in November, 4 is the maximum she could do if my desires were to be fulfilled. I think there's enough single material on the album to maybe have 6-8 singles, but if she did that many, I'd hope she'd spread them over 2 years rather than cram them all into one year.

Pixie Lott - Kiss The Stars #10, #497, #821

255. Flo Rida - Low

293. The Saturdays - Megamix

328. The Script - The Man That Can't Be Moved

574. Flo Rida & Ke$ha - Right Round

585. Flo Rida - Club Can't Handle Me

802. Avril Lavigne - What The Hell

958. Selena Gomez - Hit The Lights

968. Miley Cyrus - The Climb

I reckon Madonna's new song will perform more similarly to Marry the night. She's hardly a superstar in this Itunes times.

I do think it's going to be a weird one for Madonna, this has literally got no hype compared to Born This Way. Hold It Against Me had more hype to it and look how that ended up. I could see this doing the same. Peaking at around #06. Can't see it challanging the top 2 on iTunes or official charts.

I agree. I see no reason why the song couldn't become a massive hit in the long run, but with on air, on sale songs, the first couple of week's sales are generally based on mainly the artist's fanbase and media hype. There isn't that much really, so I don't quite understand why people are expecting it to debut at #3 on two days of sales?

4 Minutes was a bigger hit than Born This Way in the long run, but it was nowhere near #1 in its first couple of weeks. I know Madonna was massive like 25 years ago, but to think, at the moment that she has the immediate selling power of Lady Gaga is a little bit ridiculous imo.

Also, just thought people might like to know, One Direction are #2 on Canada iTunes, and The Wanted are #20 on US iTunes!!!!!!!!!! :o UK talent, TAKING OVER THE WORLD!! :D

Hahahahaha - talent - that's a bit of a stretch of the imagination... more like UK shite taking over the world.

Oh well better UK shite that other shite I suppose.
