Yeah tbh, SMS is kind of a let down, tbh.

If used for a single it needs an extended mix and an added bridge with Miley and Britney (kinda like the bridge in WB).

Am I the only one who LOVES SMS (Bangerz)? *.* Britney needs more songs like this.

Will listen to the full thing soon, can't wait :D

Adore You - 6.5

We Can't Stop - 9.0

SMS (BANGERZ) - 3.0

4x4 - 4.0

My Darlin' - 5.0

Wrecking Ball - 9.5

Love Money Party - 4.0

#GETITRIGHT - 6.0

Drive - 7.5

FU - 6.5

Do My Thang - 8.0

Maybe You're Right - 7.0

Someone Else - 7.5

The second half is certainly much better than the first but after such strong singles this is a major disappointment. They certainly did well at choosing singles I suppose, they are certainly the two best songs on this album. I think 'Do My Thang' or 'Drive' should be the next single, or even maybe 'FU' might do okay, at a push.

Just listening through now and I'm up to 'My Darlin''. Not one track I dislike atm! All of 'Adore You', 'SMS (Bangerz)', '4x4' & 'My Darlin'' are absolutely brilliant! I'm loving how each track is different from the last. I don't love any of them as much as the two singles so far, but this is only my first listen through! Very solid so far!

People expecting instant smashes will be disappointed. The album is a lot more layered, personal and creative than that. It will get under your skin with repeated plays if you give it the chance. It reminds me so much of "Rated R".

Agreed. Though, I find it far superior to Rated R, as a whole. ( :o )

The only really INSTANT song is "Wrecking Ball"... and perhaps "4x4". It took me about a week to fully appreciate "We Can't Stop". This shits all over her past repertoire, besides maybe "Party In The USA", and the guilty pleasure that IS, "See You Again".

06 Adore You

09 We Can't Stop

03 SMS (BANGERZ) - more of an INTERLUDE than a song and one I shan't be returning to

07 4x4

05 My Darlin'

10 Wrecking Ball

03 Love Money Party

05 #GETITRIGHT

08 Drive

09 FU

06 Do My Thang

07 Maybe You're Right

09 Someone Else

Solid album really (and obv that's just my deep seeded hatred for URBAN MUZAK shining through), but Can't Be Tamed is better.

Loving this more with each listen.

What an excellent record. It's lovely to see a pop artist create a fully realised, artistic with vision. Very subtle hooks, a strong identity. There are some weak spots (as with any pop record) but it's a real mission statement from Miley.

The country/urban hybrid style works surprisingly well.

"Hands in the Air" is amazing and should have made the standard edition of the album.
Totes agree.

"Someone Else" may just be the best thing she ever did. There are no words for it.

Well I have given this album a chance to grow and while I still think some of it is nothing more than SHIT, it is growing so much.

Without 'SMS', '4x4' and 'Love Money Party' this would be a rather great album actually.
