That cover is hilarious  It's as if they just gave the works experience guy a couple of images and asked him to make a cover using them which he took all of 10 minutes to do.

It's #48 on UK iTunes (Bangerz)

I think 'Wrecking Ball' will be single two as you can't get ' Wrecking Ball ' when you pre-order 'Bangerz' unlike everywhere else!

Can't get over how AWFUL these covers are. It's very tacky 80's style? I don't get it...

However, Wrecking Ball is AMAZING. Damn I'm excited for this album.

And people thought the Roar artwork was bad. :drama:

I think this campaign is going to be huge, I expect ' Bangerz ' to debut at #01 in America and top #03 in America, It's funny that 'Wrecking Ball ' has managed to go top #05 on iTunes (USA). I hope she performs ' Wrecking Ball ' at the VMA tonight and sends it to radio within the next week!

USA iTunes

3. Miley Cyrus - Bangerz (Deluxe Version)

279. Miley Cyrus - Bangerz (Deluxe Version)

503. Miley Cyrus - Bangerz

Uk iTunes

16. Miley Cyrus - Bangerz (Deluxe Version) It's incredible she's got this high on pre-orders, it would be incredible if it managed to go top 10!

247. Miley Cyrus - Bangerz

I'd really like that cover if she didn't look so photoshopped on top of it. Still, really looking forward to this, all her albums have been great so far.
ugh i can see what they're trying to do with the cover but it's just not worked at ALL. the bangers neon lights in front of the plants is gorgeous tho, shoulda just used that

really don't like "wrecking ball" either, maybe moreso because of the faux-persona not being justified on it at all. this era has been such a forced and mismatched pile of tripe.

Agree with you aboot the cover, though. They should have left it as it was before, much better. This hasn't worked.

Anyway, really like Wrecking Ball, she's replacing the old princesses of pop this era eh!

The verses are EVERSO Kate Bush. Something I thought I'd never associate with a Miley Cyrus-BANGERZ album.

Well it's all Kate Bush, to country to 'Halo'-esque. I find the transition into the chorus from verse very disjointed. It's like three songs in one.

Got to add to what Lew said, I don't see how this goes with any of the image she's created for herself post-Disney-pubery whatever she wishes to call it. Not really the music of some pot-smoking/"all I listen to is urban" lass is it now?

BANGERZ = "contrived"

With a title like "Bangerz" how could it ever not be contrived? Surely it's very apparent the whole image overhaul is not representative of the "real" Miley? Who actually cares as long as the music is good?

Well, quite. Frankly everything people are talking about now has been apparent since the 'We Can't Stop' video premiered.

Britney collab seemingly confirmed :D

Oh I thought it was Selena next to Taylor but I couldn't tell! Her "shut the f*** up" and "I'd like to thank the guy that inspired this song because he knows EXACTLY who he is" were both amazing moments. It's a shame she couldn't get a performance slot when GaGa and Katy who weren't even nominated did.

Exactly, it's an act. And I'm not comfortable with calling a popstar a "$l*t" just because she twerked and grinded on stage. It's demeaning and sets women back decades. Men in pop have objectified them for so long in lyrics and music videos, while boasting of their own sexual appetities... the last thing the pop girls need is the audience refusing to allow them the same right.

Apparently the founder of those foam fingers said she completely demeaned them. :drama:
