C'mon Emeli you can do it! I really hope she gets to number one!
what was the highest position on itunes of tinchy stryder - in my system?

I can't remember exactly. But I remeber it went in the top 10 on iTunes. It's a very good song. Although I always thought it was unfair that Jodie Connor got credited when she doesn't even sing on it.

I always thought it sounded like this song:

I think it reached #7

It's too late for Emeli now. She definitely won't get there this week.

It's not too late for Emeli  If she can go number one combined tomorrow and remain number #1 combined until the end of the week she should end up number one. Although she will always need to have a 10%+ lead.

which songs are coming out this sunday?

The only real major release is Gym Class Heroes - Ass Back Home, also the single versions of Want U Back (a different version with Astro off US X-Factor), Domino and Matt Cardle - Amazing.

Also Rachel Adedeji - Club Lights and Ladyhawke - Black White & Blue which I like but neither will do a thing.

Then on Tuesday night the BRITs performances will all be released as they were last year (well, apart from Rihanna's mashup which wasn't released for some reason).

Top 100 update (8pm positions)

Today's top 100 entries (mostly by default due to falling Whitney entries and former 59p songs being put back to 99p):

#66 RE-ENTRY Eminem feat. Rihanna - Love The Way You Lie (59p but has been for a while so probably something else too)

#67 RE-ENTRY M.I.A. - Bad Girls (default climbing, but probably some other factor for it to re-enter so high as well)

#70 NEW Gotye feat. Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know (cherrypicked from standard edition of new album 'Making Mirrors')

#75 RE-ENTRY James Vincent McMorrow - Higher Love (default climbing, fluctuates a lot being an ad-boosted song - album version)

#84 RE-ENTRY Adele - Make You Feel My Love (default climbing + probably benefiting from her Grammy wins)

#89 RE-ENTRY Goo Goo Dolls - Iris (default climbing - greatest hits version)

#90 RE-ENTRY Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguilera - Moves Like Jagger (default climbing - Now! 80 version)

#94 RE-ENTRY Tyga - Rack City (default climbing)

#95 RE-ENTRY Florence + The Machine - Shake It Out (default climbing - standard album version)

Anna Calvi - Jezebel (Version Française)

AWOLNation – Not Your Fault

Benjamin Francis Leftwich – Pictures

Cher Lloyd feat Astro – Want U Back

Childish Gambino - All The Shine

Foo Fighters – These Days

Gemma Ray & Sparks – Sings Sparks with Sparks (7”)[Limited]

Grouplove – Colours

Gym Class Heroes feat Neon Hitch – Ass Back Home

James Morrison - Slave To The Music

Jessie J – Domino

Joey Negro & Gramophonedzie feat Shea Soul - No Sugar

Ladyhawke - Black White & Blue

Matt Cardle - Amazing

PJ Harvey - Written On The Forehead

PNAU - Unite Us (12”)

Rachel A - Club Lights

School Of Seven Bells - Lafaye (7“)

The Twilight Sad – Another Bed (7”)

Gym Class Heroes is probably the only big one, I can see it going top 10. And maybe Cher Lloyd will climb a bit too. I'd love All the Shine to do well, because the song is amazing, but I can't see it happening. :(

I hope Pixie Lott manages to remain in the top 100 (official charts) cause no doubt she will re-climb into the top 100 next week, following the Brits effect.

Combined

01. Dj Fresh - Hot Right Now 100%

02. Emeli Sande - Next To Me 90.5%

36. Emeli Sande - Read All About It Part III

MIA- Bad Girls has been getting increased video play. It might even be a VIP track of the week on one of the channels. I've been turning it over, blah.
Something I didn't even notice when typing up that update somehow - Charlene Soraia is back up to #19. Ergh. Will this ever die? :( The worst thing is everyone is going to forget about the original version of the song even though it was a top 3 hit in its own right...
Even I'm fed up of Charlene Soraia and I hardly ever get tired of songs from overplay (because I only really listen to songs of my accord)! It's chart run for me was something ridic like (7-5-14-28-xx) (even more awful seeing as I have a top 75!) and even though it was a top 5 for me I don't really have a desire to listen to it ever again :/

Ed Sheeran at #16 - Hopefully this doesn't rise. Is he performing at the Brits?

He is but will most likely be performing 'The A Team' one would assume.

 #46 Madonna - Give Me all Your Luvin. this has really performed terribly, even with a video!
Nicki Minaj - Starships was released about an hour ago, its #208 on iTunes chart
I'd love it to get number 1 on next week's quiet front but I doubt she can pull off an OA/OS release. I still think she can pull off a MASSIVE hit in weeks to come regardless.
