Although it was unlikely to begin with, the deletion of the 'Next to Me' single version will most definitely have cost her reaching the #1 come Sunday.

I wonder if One Direction's I Should Have Kissed You will chart seperate? It's not in the top 40 mids that makes me think that It will contribute towards the sales of One Thing.

Without adding I Should Have Kissed You, One Direction are #13 combined on iTunes. Adding I Should Have Kissed You makes them combined at #09 on iTunes.

It will either chart separately or be excluded. Sales of a B-Side never go to the A-Side, that would not make a single iota of sense.

I assumed it was combined, as it's part of the 'One Thing' single on iTunes?

But it's not the song 'One Thing' so why would it count towards the sales of 'One Thing'? Cherrypicking a song off an album doesn't give a sale to the whole album, this is the same principle on a smaller scale :P

Sales of the actual EP go towards 'One Thing' but if you just cherrypick the B-Side then that sale goes towards 'I Should Have Kissed You' (which may or may not be eligible for the chart depending on how the OCC feel this time; the B-Side to WMYB was ineligible but the B-Side to GBY was allowed to chart and made #85).

C'mon Nicki! I know it's early, but where do we think it will chart on Sunday? I'd say top 15 if it carries on the ways it's going, maybe low top 10. That is if she doesn't go into freefall :P
Random but... 'Shady Love' by Scissor Sisters [and Azealia Banks although uncredited] was supposed to be released on Feb 12th but has now been pushed back..

Cheers Bre :)

I'm glad one of the versions has been deleted.

Hope both David Guetta/Nicki and Nicki can get into the top 10 soon!

Me too, hopefully David Guetta/Nicki will climb to #9 and then Nicki will knock Cover Drive out!

Woah. What has happened with Next To Me?

The single version got deleted, so it's the album version at #4 now.

Nicki Minaj up to #10. David Guetta down to #11...AGAIN!

I think it'll be very difficult for her to get a hit bigger than Super Bass (especially in the US, since it was the 8th biggest song of 2011 there, I can't see Starship being in the top 7 of 2012). However, it could certainly peak higher than Super Bass in the UK. Maybe even as soon as next week.
