February 13, 201213 yr Adele is on course to get 10 million+ sales I reckon and become the first album to get diamond certification in a loonnnnnggg time.
February 14, 201213 yr Lucky sample for Adele? There's no way she could be heading for ~300k for no good reason. Next week maybe. Still gonna be a big sales gain for her based on this anyway. 150k minimum?
February 14, 201213 yr Lucky sample for Adele? There's no way she could be heading for ~300k for no good reason. Next week maybe. Still gonna be a big sales gain for her based on this anyway. 150k minimum? I think the Grammy effect leaked in for the last day of the chart week. This tweet seems to suggest that anyhow: http://twitter.com/#!/chartnews/status...189046810185728 Glad to see her looking likely to hold Van Halen off after all :cheer: Hoping for massive sales next week, maybe her first sales week over 300k? Set Fire To The Rain will definitely be #1 on Radio Songs, fingers crossed then that it's also back at #1 on the Hot 100 so she does the triple #1 of albums/airplay/H100 (although she'll most likely do that next week anyway if she doesn't this week). February 14, 201213 yr I have no doubt that she'll beat Van Halen even if she doesn't sell 300K+. Clips of her Anderson interview were put online as early as Friday which resulted in the "RITD" jump, then came the SLY audition on The Voice, and of course Sunday's Grammys. I wonder if her label will ever televise that Royal Albert Hall DVD.... that'll be another big week for her then!
February 14, 201213 yr Adele is on course for 225K this week! and should easily beat Van Halen. 47K alone just on on itunes, after the grammys. http://www.hitsdailydouble.com/news/rumormill.cgi Edited February 14, 201213 yr by Olympus

February 14, 201213 yr 242K!...wow Next week its estimated she will get her 21st week at US number one with over 400K!.
February 14, 201213 yr 'Over 225k' was a bit of an understatement then :o! Still technically true I suppose but the phrase implies only just over 225k. >300k next week please (fitting for it to get its highest sales week to date at its 21st weke at #1 :P) Brilliant to see '19' at a new peak as well, might not be reflected in the actual BB200 as there's always some differences but should definitely climb next week anyway :D Nice increases for Coldplay and Mumford & Sons as well! And Paul McCartney with a new entry in the top 5 as well. Another prosperous week for the Brits (not even mentioning One Direction being off to an insanely good start with What Makes You Beautiful and the Grammy-related rises of Paradise and all 3 Adele megahits). February 14, 201213 yr Considering she'd sold 561,602 copies of "21" last week, this week's sales should put her at 800K, and next week's sales report should comfortably put her past 1.2mil then! Not bad... and to think it's not even the end of Q1 of 2012, and this is an album that's a year old! As for "19", if it doesn't hit a new peak this week, it hopefully should next week.

Still technically true I suppose but the phrase implies only just over 225k. >300k next week please (fitting for it to get its highest sales week to date at its 21st weke at #1 :P) Bre. next week is forecast sales of over 399K, so at least 400k! "21 GOES FOR 21: After remaining at #1 for the 20th time on today’s HITS’ Album sales chart, XL/Columbia recording artist Adele’s 21 will have its best sales week to date next Tuesday (2/21), on the one-year anniversary of the album's release. Early indicators suggest the six-time Grammy winner, in her 52nd week on the chart, will blow past the 399k she achieved during Christmas week 2011. You mean BY last week?. Is that US sales?. World wide shes sold over 2 million this year already! ...amazing for a new album in Q1, let alone one that's been out for a year.(so I guess its Q5? :) )
February 15, 201213 yr Bre. next week is forecast sales of over 399K, so at least 400k! " http://www.hitsdailydouble.com/news/rumormill.cgi As per the US iTunes thread I thought her top sales week so far was 299k rather than 399k for some reason :P According to Eric '21' could even go over 500k next week! Bloody hell.
February 15, 201213 yr A bit gutted The Fray never crossed 100K but at least they got another top five album, watch it plummet out of the top 100 in a month now. :(
