'21' more than quadrupling its sales on this point last week because of the Grammys - geesh :o

Well, it did only sell 17.5k last week...

It would be amazing if the top 3 singles were all over 100k - I don't know when that last happened?

 I was thinking of Field Mice instead of Field Music :(

I'm surprised how poorly Whitney's albums are selling.. Expected top 3 at least. Well, she was more of an US star anyway with numerous number one hits there, just like Mariah Carey.

Click on Singles and find out :P

Could Adele sell another 60k this week then?

Around 47k to 50k

I'm pretty sure 'The Ultimate Collection' would be top 5 if it weren't budget-only.

This is what I have:

"ALSO DETAILS OF PHYSICAL SINGLE RELEASE DATE:

'GMAYL' 2 Track Single, release date and updates!

MadonnaTribe has an exclusive update about the upcoming CD single for Madonna's "Give Me All Your Luvin'", including some fresh info straight from Universal Music.

The release date.

As reported first on this news page yesterday, online retailers started listing a physical single for "Give Me" wilth a release date of February 24.

Yesterday we anticipated that the release is likely to be slightly pushed back.

In fact, MadonnaTribe understands that the CD pressing will start next week, making the timeframe for a February release tight.

But don't worry, we can expect the single to hit the stores on March 5th in the countries where CDs are released on Mondays.

The tracklisting.

As already reported here first the 2-track single will include the "Party Rock Remix" feat. LMFAO as its b-side.

The "2 Titres".

Although the 2-track CD single format has been a French classic for the Madonna collectors among the years in its signature "2 titres" carboard sleeve format, Polydor will not release "Give Me All Your Luvin'" as a physical single in France.

The Maxi CD.

In our report yesterday we said we were keeping our finger crossed for a remixes-filled CD Maxi. And that is it, because at the present time Interscope does NOT have a plan to release a Maxi, although they have a set of remixes ready to be serviced to clubs.

Thanks to Polydor / Interscope / Universal Music Group. "

As far as I'm aware that is a German only release

Very happy for 1D in the Top 10, fingers crossed they'll stay there! Would prefer Emeli to be at #1 in the singles chart, but I'm not expecting it. :)
and Jessie might score another week at #1 with Domino next week.

Lolwut? I assumed she'd be doing "Price Tag" anyway but do you really expect the song to suddenly more than double its week-on-week sales to 50% higher than it sold either week at #1?

If Adele's looking at selling 50k-ish this week then Lana's clearly stopped falling anywhere near as sharply as I expected. Very promising.

'21' more than quadrupling its sales on this point last week because of the Grammys - geesh :o I thought it'd have a bit of a boost but not THAT big. I certainly thought it'd be behind Gotye at this point at least. It could even be back at #2 by the end of the week, 3k isn't a big gap to close (although the Grammy effect will die off over the week so the gap could just as easily get bigger). Great to see '19' back to just outside the top 10 and sales more than tripling on the week as well, hopefully back in the top 10 next week from the BRITs effect :D

A 30% increase on the week for Somebody That I Used To Know is very promising, it only needs an increase of a bit over 20% for the whole week to top 100k. Looking almost certain to surpass the sales at #3 that Lou Monte had on Xmas week 2011 anyway, but it'd be unbelievable if all of the top 3 sold six figures this week, would probably be the first time that's happened since the late 90s?

And to think that just a few weeks ago people were saying singles sales at the top end of the chart were so low!

You've just made me think about Mariah dying! I don't know what I'd do if she died too.

Great sales for Emeli! And Lana holding up really well, very pleased! Good week with albums in general.

There was nothing on display in my local HMV today which would suggest they don't yet have many copies in stock.

Nor mine yesterday, although I assume we're probably referring to the same branch  Nothing in the alphabetical section either - empty under her name.

Have you moved to Bournemouth?

I thought you were in Brighton :drama:

Surely due to lack of stock, rather than lack of demand. The majority of her fans will surely be of an age that prefer physical music formats, so will wait for re-stock, rather than downloading.
