The fact that there is a Not Giving Up remix gives an indication that it will be a single, don't think anyone has mentioned this yet.

I did

I think it should be a single simply due to the positive fan feedback. Although if that were the way it worked then White Lies, Faster, and GRGS would've been singles as well.

this album campaign feels like a non-event. I mean I'm excited for Disco Love but I completely forgot the album is out next month!!!
I really don't see what you guys see. I absolutely love the cover. They look sexy but not raunchy. I'm so excited about this album. I mean the only negative thing I have to say is that I wish the deluxe version had a few more tracks but I mean I really hope I can order a copy & they ship it over to Canada because I don't have time to sit & wait for the label to decide whether it will be released in North America or not.
I'm actually disappointed with the tracklist as well. I agree 12 tracks is the standard but they have already released four singles from the album and it also includes a couple of b sides already available....

It doesn't include ANY b-sides. Somebody Else's Life had an acoustic on the What About Us physical but this is the fully produced album version, which we all knew was coming, surely. Wildfire is only a deluxe track. 8 new tracks (we've heard snippets of some but that's it) isn't bad.

I don't understand why people are so annoyed by the tracklist - you do release they've released FOUR song before the album is even released and a usual album is 10-12 tracks?? It's not going to be endless stream of NEW SONGS. Stop listening to snippets / video clips of unreleased songs if you want an album with 'new' songs. It's your own fault.
Justin Bieber released a 13-track album in Believe, with one pre-album single and then three promo singles. So I knew four tracks before the album was out. Didn't leave me disappointed at all. It's good hearing songs you know on there, you have a vague idea of what the sound will be like.
Although, tbf this album has no particular "sound" to it what so ever. '30 Days', 'What About Us', 'Gentleman' and 'Disco Love' are all completely different from one another and not similarly, either. But I'm excited. They usually deliver the goods so here's hoping it's the same! :D

You should be able to preorder it from the Universal Store normally.

oh yeah forgot that rumour!!! seriously thinking a full singles collection wont happen now, unless its the next one - its more likley they will just do a Best Of now

I'm seeing one next year or shortly after this album, as long as we get 1 or 2 new tracks. :P

I'd quite enjoy a HITS era, just for the performances of older singles and medleys.

Suspecting that would come after the 2014 World tour....

3 promo singles coming out a few weeks before the album is a bit different to songs you've known for months.

Can't say it bothers me though. Jpop for example, they all release singles before the album and then move straight on to a single from the next album campaign. I would imagine The Sats will do something similar this time around. Can't say I see them releasing a post-album single.

It's still songs you know before the album though, you have time to familiarise yourself with these songs and you might as well have known them for months.

You can now pre-order on Amazon, for those interested.
35 Days until the Irish leak...ahem I mean, the Irish release.

Somebody else's life is still a b-side, albeit we are getting the full version and wildfire as you say has already been a b-side but its available only on the deluxe album. Its still pretty poor in my opinion in terms of number of brand new tracks given we are already upto single 4. Their last album featured 14 tracks as well and no b sides.

Have you considered the fact they dont sell albums as a factor!?

Obviously OYR cost more than this album and probably didn't make a profit. This campaign is much cheaper for them and will likley make money even if it only sells 60000 units. E! would have paid for the recording of Lease My Love, Not Giving Up and Gentleman. 30 Days is from the OYR era, What About Us paid for itself.
