Emeli Sandé's bar is now only 72.6% of Gotye's 2 top 100 versions combined! (His third version is literally only just inside the top 300 now on my feed - which is odd as that's actually the version that started AHEAD of the other one currently in the top 40 :o) I hope Gotye can pull off another sales increase, but annoyingly the only sales info we got yesterday was that he was 7k ahead of Emeli - hopefully we'll get more sales info tomorrow. His return to #1 is 100% guaranteed now anyway (well, it has been since shortly after the BRITs when Emeli didn't gain on him at all )

20 (0.1874) Lil Wayne - Mirror (feat. Bruno Mars)

Gotye seemingly untouchable at the moment, with almost a 0.3000 lead over Emeli Sande (at #2). Likely movement come the next update will be LMFAO overtaking Alyssa Reid and the two Ed Sheeran songs swapping places. 'Mirror' by Lil Wayne is also dropping quite quickly on iTunes, so will likely be replaced by Coldplay's 'Paradise' (#21 based on percentage).

what will be the peak position of this?

I think it'll go top 20. Maybe #15 or something. I certainly hope it does anyway.

Nicki Minaj is gaining on Flo Rida & Sia quite rapidly according to Kworb (dark green) and has risen about 2% in the last fifteen mins. If it continues gaining like this she could hit #4 by the tomorrow morning! The gap to #3 is also very small so she could get as high as #3 by tomorrow afternoon, and who knows maybe a future #1 once the video is released (which is hopefully soon!).

This is actually already out of date. Kworb updated a few minutes ago with Emeli and DJ Fresh down slightly and Nicki is at 52%.

I have a feeling that it will be #1 or #2

That's a bit optimistic. The song may seem very popular, but it won't do that well in the actual charts. I'd be very happy if it went top 10.

Having seen the video for the first time this morning, I'm hoping it enters higher than Dappy's new single. A really great track imo - like a sequel to 'Dedication To My Ex' in terms of style.

Re; The Wanted #1 on Canada iTunes. They're lucky to have 'Glad You Came' in their back catalogue but will they be able to maintain their success? I was reading this article at work today and it mentions other acts that did well with 1 single, and that's it. Even Take That only ever had one big hit in America ('Back For Good').

Like how it mentions 'Are You Jimmy Ray?'. Who remembers him?

It's a shame the BRITs don't broadcast at the very beginning of the week, since a lot of those songs could be getting much higher peaks.

Tuesday is pretty early on in the week though Eric.

Yes, but it's at the end of the day, so sales-wise it's probably only like half a week it gets to effect.

I was also thinking the same. I can't think of anything on their discography that could be a hit in Canada and the US either. But they can always make new songs though.

They're #5 on US iTunes too now. We can't deny their success is amazing. Especially since they didn't have to use a US rapper either, and they did on air, on sale in both countries, so nobody has any excuses this time.

 51. Gold Digger (feat. Jamie Foxx) - Kanye West

:D This got to #73 the last time it was 59p, hope it can do similar or better this time.

Nadia Ali back up to #37. 'Rack City' and 'Bad Girls' have swapped places at 43/44 respectively. Top version of 'Niggas In Paris' still at #29 but the second version is up to #176 :D
I do not understand which song Nadia Ali is actually releasing. Rapture is all over the music channels but pressure is all over the radio in dublin
Ugh. Pee off Ed! If you prevent Kelly from re-entering the top 10, I will personally hunt you down :drama: (Amazed at her staying power though :o)

Who wants to know? ;)

Nicki Minaj just premiered her new song with Lil Wayne called "Roman Reloaded", she said it was going to be on iTunes later on today, somehow i dont think its going to do as well as Starships

Nicki Minaj Ft Lil Wayne - Roman Reloaded: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ehgAU1EuAk

I LOVE Nicki's new song!!! :D :D

It's amazing aswell, as she must've recorded it in the past couple of weeks, as she refers to the criticism that Starships has received (outside of Buzzjack a lot of people don't like it as it's very generic ).

And there's also that line where she boasts about being in the top 5 hottest rappers of 2011. The top 5 was only revealed a few days ago, so she must've written the song really recently (unless she can tell the future ).

I heard that she's doing an interview with Scott Mills tommorrow though, so maybe it won't do that bad. I can see it having Stupid Hoe-esque success. It might do really well on US iTunes, since it features Lil Wayne (and Nicki and that type of music is more popular in the US anyway).
