Wow, all 4 of them are so close! :o I think whatever happens it'll end up with Nicki and Flo Rida at #2 and #3 either way around. Both of those songs are massive. I can see them spending 10+ weeks in the top 10.

 

Are there any big releases that could get #1 in the coming weeks? If not, I can see Gotye being #1 for the whole of March (the next 5 weeks).

I'd be glad to see either Emeli or Flo Rida (or even both) somehow manage to outsell Dappy for #2 this week. I'm just glad the power of Gotye has held strong and means we get another decent long staying #1 hit (well, its 3 non-consecutive weeks but still).

 

If Dappy keeps dropping off at this pace, he might be out of the top 10 in next weeks official chart.

3 weeks is hardly a "long staying" #1 hit. Even Party Rock Anthem was #1 for longer than that. However, I do think Gotye has many more weeks at #1 ahead of him, and I think he's very likely to be the year-end #1 to be honest. Quite deservedly, as it's a brilliant song. :wub:

 

I don't think Dappy will be out of the top 10 officially next week. :lol: People on here always say that, and they hardly ever fall as far as predicted.

Nicki up to #3! :D

Does anyone know if Nicki Minaj has made a video yet for Starships? Considering its got to #3 on both hype and only radio airplay its doing very well. As soon as the video drops it really wouldn't surprise me if it challenged for #1 in a few weeks.

 

There really isn't much out in the next few weeks but I reckon the new Katy Perry, JLS (#1 then quick drop?) and Chris Brown will all be big during March.

Nicki should be #2 soon :o :cheer:

 

Somebody That I Used To Know and Starships would be a brilliant top 2, both songs are in my current personal chart top 10 (4 and 10 respectively). I think StooShe could go top 2 next week though.

 

I wonder just how many weeks Gotye could have at #1, he's already showing signs of being a new 'We Found Love' by keeping off Dappy who everyone expected to ease to #1 (well, I didn't but still :P) so if he keeps it up he could rack up a very respectable run at #1 and keep holding off the big new releases at 2/3. I wouldn't be surprised if he stays in the top 10 for 15+ weeks as well, since he was increasing sales in his fifth week in the top 10 after having already made #1 and he shows no signs of letting go of his enormous lead at the top!

 

Minaj could also challenge Gotye for #1 if she gets her video out soon as well of course.
