5. Nicki Minaj - Starships

19. Lil Wayne - Mirror

37. Drake - Take Care

40. Tyga - Rack City

^ This must be the first time ever we've had 4 Young Money/Cash Money artists in the top 40 at the same time, as lead artists!!!! :o :o :o

Tyga is only the fourth Young Money act to have any UK success besides 'BedRock' (he also had a #68 hit featuring on Chris Brown's 'Deuces') so definitely yes for YM :P Not sure about Cash Money as a whole.

The week before last all 4 of those had new entries in the top 100 - Nicki Minaj had 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' at #37, Tyga had 'Rack City' at #98 and Drake and Lil Wayne had 'The Motto' at #100.

On Cash Money, there's also T-Pain, Limp Bizkit, Christina Millian, Jay Sean, Busta Rhymes and Kevin Rudolf (and other artists who I doubt have ever been top 40 here ). I can't think of any time they would've overlapped.

I bet Lil Wayne is liking the bit of extra money he's suddenly making from the UK.

 94. Turn Up The Music - The Beautiful People

Ugh, this (Chris Brown version obv) is going to be huge isn't it :( It's just a really average retread of the first 2 singles from 'F.A.M.E.', I don't get why so many people seem to love it so much.

 88. 212 (feat. Lazy Jay) - Azealia Banks

Great to see this sticking around in the top 100 this time :D

Surely if the charts of the last two years have proven anything it's that people love really average retreads of big hits?

Not on BuzzJack though (where Turn Up The Music has largely had a positive reception).

What was the peak position of this?

#4 in July 2001

Spent 6 weeks in the Top10

I think Christina Perri is performing Jar of Hearts on Graham Norton tonight, so no doubt that will rise again.

So sad that she's resigned herself to being a one-hit wonder.

Where do we think "Skyscraper" will peak? It's currently #41 on Irish iTunes.

Hopefully missing top 40 completely. Wasn't this song released in the US over a year ago  what is the point of holding a song back for THAT long

That makes no sense at all, why should it flop just because it was held back?! It's not her fault her management and label have no brains and leave it for a year. Should still go top 40 I think, but it deserves number 1 with ease. Besides, if shit like LMFAO can fly up the chart with ease, amazing songs like Skyscraper should have no trouble. Sadly the chart doesn't work that way :(

Skyscraper deserves to flop because imo it's sh*t, plus disney artists should never be allowed near the T40 :( I hate Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and High School Musical and it's great that they don't have chart hits anymore. :puke:

Seeing it just outside the top 40 on Irish iTunes gives me some hope although I know they aren't always aligned. It was released more like 8 months ago so not near a year yet.

That's incredibly generalising, but whatever.

Yeah, even Bray is a big fan of 'See You Again' by Miley Cyrus or so I hear. :kink:

Well it's absolutely no different to say Domino or Starships, so people hating it 'because it's Disney' just doesn't gel with me. If you don't like the song, fair enough but 'because it's Disney' is hardly a reason, just saying.

You say that as if it's a bad thing :P 'Tis a good song. You can hardly talk anyway, you like Bieber, Glee, Twilight, One Direction...

Just a heads up, I'm going to delete my iTunes top 100 archive and restart it on Sunday as the Word document is getting a bit big and slow, so any re-entries that were last top 100 before Sunday will then be marked as new entries rather than re-entries. No big deal really :P
