Where did Goodbye Kiss peak in he chart? Just heard it on Graham Norton - such a great track. Pity bands like Kasabian can only really get a lead single hitting the top 40....maybe this performance will see an upturn for the album - ive liked all the tracks released so far.

Rihanna performing of Wossy tomorrow night!

#79, doubt they'll beat it :(

Bad Girls at #46. I really wish it didn't have that random collapse at the start of the week. Radio 1 won't be A-listing it if it doesn't start making PROPER progress and we're coming into the weekend now, it's only going to fall back into the 50s again.
I'm surprised how Starships has recently rocketed to #2! Though I did hear it out about 5 times last night. It's going to be huge.

It didn't really rocket, it's more that there was a tiny gap between #2 and #5 so Starships was able to make up the gap really quickly. The climb looks more impressive than it actually is.

Hard to believe that "Starships" may be Nicki's first official #1, though "Where Them Girls At?" was close.
I really hope that Tinchy/Pixie song peak inside the top3, would be brilliant :)
Oh god, PLEASE let Starships get to number 1 next week  Amazing.

Not even Captain Kirk could close the gap Gotye still has on it, though... :P

It debuted at #79 last week.

Surely album sales are far more important to Kasabian than singles?

But whose fanbase will the song be more reliant on?

I've actually heard this one, albeit only because Pixie included on her album too.

On the latest kworb update it suddenly jumps from 0.6704 at 17.8hrs to 0.7011 at 15.5hrs.

That's quite a sharp rise in that time and must have happened for a reason.

Don't be silly, Ke$ha would never release anything as bad as those two songs!

IMO the ENTIRE Ke$ha catalogue that I'm aware of is worse than 'Starships'. And it's not because 'Starships' is THAT good.

It was VIP Track Of The Week on 4Music a few weeks ago, and I've seen it quite a few times since - can't say I'm gutted it's flopping, I find it really grates on me :(

OH, now I remember what that Marlon track is. Shame it's not doing well, I quite liked it after hearing it on there a couple of times.

Direct quote from Queen K$: "I don't use autotune". Clearly, that is her real voice. Would Ke$ha lie? I think not!

Did she really say that? Ah, bless.

We need Ke$ha-esque music back in the charts (which isn't as generic as Starships). Songs like Blah Blah Blah and Sleazy we need. Stuff which doesn't have synths continually through it.

I think Pixie has a bigger fanbase than Tinchy (at least when it comes down to people who legally download music). The version on Pixie's album is different to the one being released tommorrow though.

Btw, I heard a song recently, which sounds EXACTLY like the version of Bright Lights on Pixie's album. Even a few of the lyrics are the same. It was a Fabolous song, but I can't remember which one off the top of my head. :drama:

I need Ke$ha back in my life :( It's almost been a year since 'Blow' was in the charts. She does trashy better than anyone else! Usually I'd disagree with Eric Blob's 'comparisons', but I could quite easily imagine Ke$ha releasing Starships or Turn Me On

She managed to go top 10 in the US very recently with this remix (although not surprisinly, since it doesn't have synths all the way through, it flopped here):

Aw. That reminded me of the breakdowns on here when The Time and Whip My Hair were the top 2.

I'm surprised Willow hasn't had any other hits since, actually.

Really? I thought it was immediately obvious she'd be a one-hit wonder.

I think with the connections she has and all that, she's bound to get another hit one day (providing she decides to continue in music obviously). I even saw a song she did with Nicki Minaj, so if Willow is able to collab with people like her so easily, I can see her getting another hit one day. Plus, she's very young, so she's got many years ahead of her.
