As a companion thread to the one in the chart forum, i thought i'd ask you how long you've been compiling personal charts.

 

I know somepeople started doing it on CC/BJ, and some for longer than that as a general hobby.

 

For me i started compiling my chart in 1986, the same year i got into the uk chart, but only started logging my personal chart from 1988.

I can remember some of number ones prior to that too.

 

My first No.1 was So Macho by Sinitta which was knocked off the chart by Eurythmics with Thorn In My Side.

 

Other No.1s to have made my chart prior to 1988 were

 

George & Aretha - I Knew You Were Waiting

Mental As Anything - Live It Up

Starship - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now

 

And that's about all i can remember.

 

The very first chart of mine that i logged was on the 22nd January 1988, and it was a Top 10 only back then.

I used to do my chart weirdly with the top 5 being the official top 5 :huh: lol i dont know why i did that either, but i started doing a new one at start of december last year with the first number 1 being Sugbababes Ugly :D

January/February 1997...I think my first number was either Spice Girls '2 Become 1' or No Doubt 'Don't Speak'. I can't remember, and at 1:20 in the morning I can't be bothered to go into the attic and find out.

I started exactly 30 weeks ago (whenever that was), but I've only been posting them on BJ for 11 weeks -_- My first #1 was Kelly Clarkson - Because Of You and so far I've only had 4 #1s! :o

I was compling my own Top 10 and keeping it to myself from last summer (number 1s were Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc and Dare, James Blunt - Youre Beautiful, Coldplay - Speed of Sound, Fix You and Talk, Sugababes - Push The Button) but finally decided to post mine on BJ in March :D

April 2004, I've amassed nearly 54 different No.1s in the past 2 years, my first #1 was Anastacia 'Left Outside Alone'

I started mine as my second post when I registered on CC and have just carried on ever since :lol: this was back in October 2004 and my first #1 was Keane - This Is The Last Time ^_^

 

May I also take this time to tell everyone that my chart returns on Sunday after a three months absense :cheer:

My first chart was on Febuary This Year. :D With Pink- Stupid Girls being number 1

Been doing them weekly since 1998 went back and have done to 1992. They follow the release schedule with made up sales as well tho 92/93 contained a lot of 80s hits I liked as I didn't really know every song back then :lol:

No, I think he started in 1998 and then decided to go back to 1992 and compile charts with old songs from then ^_^
